Open Heaven For Teens 11 December 2023 Bible Reading Joshua 2:1-11

[1]And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
[2]And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.
[3]And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.
[4]And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:
[5]And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.
[6]But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.
[7]And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.
[8]And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;
[9]And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
[10]For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
[11]And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 DECEMBER 2023 MESSAGE

In today’s Bible passage, Joshua sent some spies to Jericho, and they came in contact with Rahab, who sold her village out to the spies.
Also, in 2 Kings 6:13-14, the king of Syria sent some spies to obtain information on his enemy – Elisha, and they brought back reports.
Thus, the success of spies depends on the information they are privy to.
It’s unfortunate that some children who have glorious destinies have destroyed them by divulging sensitive and important information about themselves to the wrong persons.
I understand that as teenagers, sometimes, you might want to boast about your future, parents, possessions, and gifts, but you should understand that the Bible says in Proverbs 18:7, “A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul”.
Don’t be too quick to tell or post things about yourself online, Ask yourself, “Of what importance is this personal information to the public?”
The Bible also says: “Whoso keepeth his mouth and tongue keepeth his soul from troubles” (Proverbs 21:23).
If you want to escape from some troubles, learn to control your mouth, heart and fingers.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 DECEMBER 2023 PRAYER POINT

Father, please let my mouth and hands always work for me and not against me in Jesus’ name.
HYMN 5 – TAKE MY LIFE AND LET IT BE
1. Take my life and let it
Consecrated Lord to Thee
Take my moment and my days
Let them flow ceaseless praise.
2. Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for thee
3. Take my voice and let me sing
Always only for my king;
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee.
4. Take my sliver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as thou shalt choose.
5. Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall no longer mine:
Take my heart, it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
6. Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure store;
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for thee

RCCG HOLY GHOST CONGRESS 2023 – DIVINE REPOSITIONING

TOPIC: ABOUT THIS TIME NEXT YEAR
TEXT: 2 KINGS 4:13-17
OPENING PRAYER
If you have been divinely repositioned already, let your Hallelujah roar like thunder. HALLELUJAH! Glory be to God, Amen.
Let’s pray!
Our Father and our God, we give You all the glory, all the praises, and all the honour.
Thank You for all You have done already, especially at this year’s Holy Ghost Congress.

We thank You for all that You are doing right now. And we are so grateful, oh God, for greater and mightier things that You will continue to do in our lives, our families, Your church, our nations, and all our cities all over the world. Father, accept our thanks and praises in Jesus’ Name.
My Father and my God, we pray that this morning, You will speak with us, speak through us, and confirm Your Word with signs and wonders. Let all the glory be Yours, my Father. In Jesus’ Name, we have prayed. Amen!
THE MESSAGE
Text – 2 Kings chapter 4
13 And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’ ”She answered, “I dwell among my own people.”

14 So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered, “Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.”

15 So he said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the doorway.
16 Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!”
17 But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.
I prophesy to somebody today, your appointed time of manifestation of divine repositioning has come.
In the course of this years’ Holy Ghost Congress, our father-in-the-Lord prophesied that about this time next year, we will already be in the position of our repositioning. For example:

1. You will already be in the position of having been repositioned from weeping to garments of praise.
2. From miry clay to the rock to stay.
3. From sickness to healing the incurable.

4. From defeat to victory from the Lord of Hosts, etc.
On Friday night, to be specific, our father-in-the-Lord said that Daddy said, “On that issue of marriage, about this time next year, you will be settled.”
Another Word from the Lord to our father-in-the-Lord, “Daddy said about this time next year, there will be many twins and triplets.”
Now, the big question is, do you believe? Are you sure you are not like the Shunammite woman who said, “Man of God, don’t lie to me”.
If you sincerely believe, the right thing to do now is to act out your belief by thanking God.
Act out your belief through thanksgiving.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

The best way to convince God that you believe that you have received is to begin to thank Him even before you experience the actual manifestation.

The best form of thanksgiving is when you give thanks to God for what you have asked for, but you are yet to receive it.
John 6:11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Why should I believe and give thanks to God from now on?
1. God can not lie.
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

2. God has commanded you not just to believe in Him but to believe His prophets.
2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

You will prosper means the Word spoken by His prophet shall accomplish the thing for which he sent it according to Isaiah 55:11.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
3. You have seen/heard numerous testimonies of God’s Word coming to pass in the course of this Congress.
We have heard at least fifty testimonies during the Congress.
Matthew chapter 11
2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples
3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
For believers, believing is seeing, not seeing is believing.
If you did not hear the testimonies that were shared during the convention, hear this, and I am persuaded that you will not leave this Congress and remain the same.

My beloved wife and I left Nigeria for England in August 1996, twenty-seven years ago. We have been married for six years without a child at that time. We have tried every possible medical, traditional, and occultic treatment in Nigeria, and they all failed.
We were referred to a specialist hospital in London. Our medical report from our doctor in Nigeria read, “The more we treated this couple for their infertility problem, the worse they became.” Imagine you, carrying this medical report and boarding a plane to go to England, and the report concluded, “We are referring them to your highly esteemed hospital for more expert management.”
In England, we consulted one of the best gynaecologists in the land. He treated my wife and I for one and a half years, but everything failed. One day, he called my wife and i to his office and said, “We are closing your file because all efforts to help you have failed. We have your details on our computer. If there is a new medical invention or breakthrough in fertility treatment in the future, we will invite you.”
On the 16th of August 1998, months after the closure of our medical file, my wife and I met our beloved daddy G.O, he laid his hands on us and said, “About this time next year, you will embrace your miracle.”
Man closed our medical file but the One that opens and no one closes opens our divine repositioning file through His son, our beloved daddy G.O, on May 22 1999, less than twelve months after that prayer, our first son was given birth to.
We went back to the hospital that closed our file, and the doctor said, “Who treated this woman that she conceived.” He wanted to know the gynaecologist in England that beat him to the game. My wife and I said this at the same time, “Doctor Jesus treated us.”
This professor of gynaecology asked, “Can you let me have the credentials of Doctor Jesus?” We told him about Jesus, and a muslim professor of gynaecology believed and surrendered to Jesus in his office.

Our father-in-the-Lord has been speaking to us about Doctor Jesus since this Congress started. About this time next year, we would have been repositioned.
Believe in Doctor Jesus, believe what daddy said about Him, believe the testimonies that you have heard, and begin to act out your belief by giving thanks to the Lord the way you have never done before, for there shall be a manifestation.
Luke 1:45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfilment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
ALTAR CALL
To believe in Doctor Jesus, you must let Him into your life as my wife and I did twenty-eight years ago. Surrender to Jesus, obey Him, and serve Him. If you want to surrender all to Jesus, come forward. God is about to silence your mockers as you give thanks to Him.
SALVATION PRAYER
Father, we thank You for the grace to believe in You. Thank You for saving these souls today. Lord, forgive their sins. Wash them clean in Your Blood. Write their names in the Book of Life and begin to use them mightily for Your glory. Thank You, my Father.
My Father, I believe, and I thank You for my all-round divine repositioning. I thank You because about this time next year, I shall embrace my miracle by walking in my divine repositioning in the Name of Jesus.
If you believe, clap your hands and shout to God with a voice of triumph. HALLELUJAH!
God bless you. Amen!

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 10 DECEMBER 2023 MESSAGE

We live in a world where some preachers teach that God is not wicked and will not punish His children when they do wrong because we are in the time of grace, thus, encouraging young Christians to misbehave.
My child, truly. God is love, but He is also a Consuming Fire.
This is the reason Apostle Paul asked the question,”Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?”
The obvious answer is NO.
In the passage for today, Potiphar’s wife wanted Joseph to sleep with her, but he refused.
No one would have known if he had done it, but God would have taken a record of it.
Joseph could have also said that he would do it and later ask God for forgiveness like some Christians do, but he fled instead because he feared God.
My child, sin can rob you of your relationship with God and the great future ahead of you.
If Joseph had slept with Potiphar’s wife, he might have been made a big man in Egypt, but his destiny would have been cut short like that of Reuben, his elder brother (Genesis 49).

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 10 DECEMBER 2023 KEY POINT

The fear of God will keep you from committing sin when no one is watching.
BIBLE QUIZ:
What is the fifth commandment?
a) Thou shall not steal
b) Honour thy father and thy mother
c) Thou shall not serve any other God except me
d) Thou shall not make thyself a graven image

HYMN 11 – O LORD MY GOD! WHEN AM IN AWESOME WONDER
1. O lord my God!
When am in awesome wonder,
consider all
The worlds thy hands hath made
I see the stars,
I heard the rolling thunder
Thy pow’r thro’ out
The universe displayed
2. And when I think
That God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die
I scare can take it in;
That on the cross,
My burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died
To take away my sin.
3. Then through the woods
And forest glads I wander,
And hear the birds
Sing sweetly in the tress;
When I look down
From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook
And feel the gentle breeze;
4. When Christ shall come
With shout of acclamation
And take me home,
What joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow
In humble adoration
And there proclaim,
My God how great Thou art!

RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS MANUAL 10 DECEMBER 2023

TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE FOUR LEPERS

OPENING PRAYER:

Dear Lord, help me to turn my weakness into strength as I learn from the four lepers.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE:

The teacher should review the lesson for the previous week.

TODAY’S LESSON

BIBLE PASSAGE: 2 Kings 7:1-5

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

MEMORY VERSE: 2 Kings 7:3

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

INTRODUCTION

In Bible times, people suffering from skin diseases like leprosy were treated as outcasts. There was no cure for the disease, which gradually left a person disfigured through loss of fingers, toes, and eventually limbs.

It is, therefore, surprising and challenging how God decided to use these categories of people to bring relief to the nation of Israel during the famine, despite their limitations (1 Corinthians 1:27).

TEACHER’S DIARY

LESSON AIM:

To teach students lessons from the biblical four lepers.

TEACHING OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this lesson, students should be able to:

a. Understand that one can live above limitations.

b. Know practical values that can help to live limitations.

TEACHING PLAN:

To achieve the above-stated objectives, the teacher should:

a. Allow the students to recite the memory verse, read the Bible passage, contribute to the discussion, do class activities and assignment.

b. Assistant Teacher to see to the well-being of the class, and mark attendance and assignment.

c. Teach the lesson outline, summarise, conclude, evaluate the lesson and give assignment to the students.

TEXT REVIEW: 2 Kings 7:1-5

TEACHING METHOD:

The Lecture Method.

TIME MANAGEMENT:

The teacher should apply the two-lesson of teaching time.

OUTLINES:

1. LIVING ABOVE LIMITATIONS

2. LESSONS TO LEARN

1. LIVING ABOVE LIMITATIONS

A. Teachers should explain the meaning of limitations as:

i. Obstacles on our way to the fulfilment of God’s plans and purposes for our lives especially as Christians.

ii. Setbacks, stagnations, and losing out in the of life.

B. The sources of limitations may include but are not limited to:

i. Spiritual (Daniel 10:12-13).

ii. Human misdeeds or errors (2 Samuel 4:4).

iii. Natural (Exodus 14:10).

iv. Afflictions (Exodus 3:7).

C. In our Bible passage – 2 Kings 7:1-5, leprosy (among other diseases) confined and restricted the purpose for living of some men:

i. These lepers were treated as outcasts; they stayed outside the camp (Numbers 5:2-3).

ii. They could not live among their brethren (Leviticus 13:45-46).

iii. They were confounded to entering of the gate (2 Kings 7:3; Luke 17:12).

D. We are bound to have challenges as Christians (Jeremiah 1:19).

i. The good news is that God has assured us of being more than conquerors through Christ (Romans 8:37).

ii. However, we have a lot to learn from the case of the lepers in 2 Kings 7:1-5, who asked themselves a fundamental question “Why sit we here until we die?”

CLASS ACTIVITY 1:

Students should share any experience where they succeeded in spite of difficulties.

2. LESSONS LEARN

The teacher should ask the students to mention the lessons that can be learned from the actions of the four lepers. He/she should then explain the lessons as follows:

1. Unity: The lepers were united. Unity is strength and it is easy to accomplish a feat when we are unified (Amos 3:3; Psalm 133:1-3).

2. Purposefulness: They were determined to achieve their goal and this helped them to conquer their fears despite their condition (2 Kings 7:4; Daniel 1:8).

3. Understanding: They were able to analyse and interpret the situation they found themselves in. This informed the decision they made and there was no strife amongst them (Proverbs 20:3).

4. Daring: They were audacious. They made up their mind to go to the camp of the enemy irrespective of the odds (Esther 4:16; 2 Kings 7:4).

5. Resolute: Twilight is a period of obscurity or haziness but the lepers were not deterred. Even in this period of uncertainty, they still went ahead with their plans. Do not give up on your dreams (2 Kings 7:5a, Daniel 3:15-18).

6. Saving Culture: Do not eat with “10 fingers!” After eating to the full they still kept some behind. Savings is important to grow big (2 Kings 7:8; Proverbs 21:20).

7. Compassion: They rebuked and went to report their findings to the king’s household so that everyone could benefit from the booty (2 Kings 7:9; 1 Peter 3:8).

8. Stop Procrastinating: Immediately they decided to tell the porter of the city their discovery they followed it with a decisive step. They did what they thought in their mind (Proverbs 13:4; 2 Kings 7:10a).

9. Share Information: They did not wholly withhold information about all that they saw at the Syrian camp. They took the good news to the right source; the king (Hebrews 13:16; 2 Kings 7:10).

CLASS ACTIVITY 2:

The class should mention other lessons that can be learned from the lepers other than the ones stated above.

CONCLUSION: RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS MANUAL 10 DECEMBER 2023

As believers, we must see beyond our limitations and fulfil our purpose (Philippians 4:13).

QUESTION

* Mention three sources of limitation.

Mention two lessons believers can learn from four lepers.

EVALUATION:

Teachers should ask the students to explain how they can fulfil their purpose in the face of limitations.

CLOSING PRAYER:

I receive the grace to fulfil my purpose irrespective of limiting circumstances around me.

1. LIVING ABOVE LIMITATIONS

Limitations are Obstacles on our way to the fulfilment of God’s plans and purposes for our lives. These can come from various sources:

Spiritual (Daniel 10:12-13).

Human misdeeds or errors (2 Samuel 4:4).

Natural (Exodus 14:10).

Afflictions (Exodus 3:7, etc

In our Bible passage, 2 Kings 7:1-5, leprosy confined and restricted the purpose of these men’s living because lepers were treated as outcasts;

TOPIC: DELEGATING

OPENING PRAYER:

Dear Lord, help me to understand the act and art of delegating in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S LESSON

Dear Lord, help me to understand the act and art of delegating in Jesus’ name.

BIBLE PASSAGE: Acts 6:1-8

1 Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.

Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables.

Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;

but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,

whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.

Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

MEMORY VERSE: Acts 6:3 (NKJV)

“Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business”

INTRODUCTION

To delegate means to assign a job function or task to another with the expectation of getting the desired results.

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, he delegated the evangelistic assignment to His disciples for broader ministerial results (Luke 10:1-2).

The ability to delegate is an important virtue that must be found in every leader whose psyche is to raise new leaders and not to just maintain followers.

Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;

but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

TOPIC: HEARING FROM GOD

Memory Verse: Isaiah 30:21a

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee. saying, This is the way, walk ye in it … “

Bible Text: 1 Samuel 3:4-10

That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lordyet revealed unto him.

And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child.

Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10 And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

LESSON INTRODUCTION

It is very important for every believer to hear from God. The relationship between parents and children should be the kind of relationship between God and believers. Parents talk to their children, their children hear and respond.

The truth is that the Almighty God is always speaking but unfortunately, our minds are too crowded to hear His voice.

WHO CAN HEAR FROM GOD?

Hearing the voice of God follows an intimate relationship with Him.

From our Bible reading for today, we saw that initially, Samuel did not recognize the voice of God but in the process of time, he grew in his relationship with God and he was able to hear Him expressly.

Therefore, who are those that can hear from God?

i. Those who desire to hear God.

ii. Those who read, study and meditate on the Word of God regularly – Rom. 10:17; Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1:1-3.

iii. Those who hate sin and love righteousness – Hebrews 1:9.

iv. Those who love to fellowship with the Holy Spirit – Romans 8:14.

v. Those who love to be still before God – Psalms 85:5.

vi. Those who obey His commands.

vii. Those who are humble and teachable – James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:5.

viii. Those who have faith in God – Hebrews 11:6.

HOW TO HEAR FROM GOD?

  • You must have a relationship with God
  • Hunger and thirst for Him – Matt. 5:6; Psalms 42:1.
  • Read and study the Word of God – Il Timothy 2:15.
  • Position yourself like Samuel to be still before Him.
  • Be opened because God can speak in diverse ways.
  • Through prayer and fasting – Mark 9:29.

CONCLUSION: RCCG HOUSE FELLOWSHIP MANUAL 10 DECEMBER 2023

The life of a believer becomes easier when they hear from God. There will be no anxiety because the Word of God brings peace.

PRAYER POINTS

  1. Father, please remove everything hindering us from hearing You as a church.
  2. Father, make us Your special vessel for special use.

LEADER’S DIARY

Lesson Aim:

To make believers understand what it takes to hear from the Almighty God.

Teaching Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, members should be able to know:

  • who can hear from God.
  • how to hear God.

Text Review: 1 Samuel 3:4-10

  • Be careful with the assignment God has given you, it can be withdrawn.
  • To every useful vessel, there is a worthy replacement to take over in case he misses out.
  • Arrogance and carelessness are the bane to a carefree vessel.
  • In that little state you are, you can be selected for greater assignment.

Lesson Introduction: In our Bible reading for today, we have three entities involved;

  • The Almighty.
  • Eli – The Priest and
  • Samuel – The young Lad.

God chooses to speak to anyone, anytime and anywhere. He does not need anyone’s permission. Samuel was not expecting God to come and talk to him, but He came. He did not recognise God’s voice, he mistook the voice of God for Eli’s voice. Saul of Tarsus did not expect Jesus to stop him on his way to Damascus.

Teaching Method:

Use interactive and lecture method.

Time Management:

Share the teaching time using the suggested time schedule.

[1]To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 9 DECEMBER 2023 MESSAGE

There’s a general saying that “he who fails to plan, plans to fail,” This means having good success is not by luck but by work.
So, if you must succeed in your chosen career or field, you must plan.
Another reason for planning is to avoid wasting time and resources.
As a student, you need to plan your time. If one does not plan his or her time well, it will be spent on frivolous things that would profit nothing.
For instance, if you intend to write an examination this year, you need to have a reading timetable that would guide you on what to read and when to study.

Setting goals is also another way of planning.

You need to ask yourself what you would like to achieve this year, five years from now, and ten years from now, and have a plan that would help you achieve your goals.
In planning for bigger goals, you will need to set smaller goals to help you achieve the bigger ones.
There is also the place of evaluation.
At the end of each day, ask yourself, have I achieved what I planned to do today?

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 9 DECEMBER 2023 KEY POINT

Father, help me to fulfil my destiny.
HYMN 6: I’M PRESSING ON THE UPWARD WAY

1. I’m pressing on the upward way,
New heights I’m gaining everyday;
Still praying as I onward bound

“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”
Lord, lift me up and let me stand,
By faith, on Heaven’s table-land;
Where love, and joy, and light abound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
2. My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise, and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where these abound,
My constant aim is higher ground.
3. Beyond the mist I fain would rise,
To rest beneath unclouded skies,

Above earth’s turmoil peace is found
By those who dwell on higher ground.
4. I long to scale the utmost height,
Though rough the way, and hard the fight,

My song, while climbing, shall resound
Lord, lead me on to higher ground.
5. Lord, lead me up the mountain side
I dare not climb without my Guide;
And, heaven gained, I’ll gaze around,
With grateful heart from higher ground.
