Dreams come from God, satan, ourselves, and activities done during the day. As potent as dreams are, believers should not entirely trust in dreams and visions. God’s purpose for giving you a dream is to direct you. However, the devil can come into your dream to mislead or confuse you.

This is why it is important to always cover yourself with the blood of Jesus before you go to bed. It is also possible to dream about what you did during the day or thought about before going to bed. This is why you are advised not to watch demonic or horror movies because you might have bad dreams.

When you have a dream, the first thing to do is to pray about it and ask for interpretation from the Holy Spirit. If it is a good dream that needs no interpretation, write it in your journal and pray that God should bring it to pass. However, if it is a bad dream, rebuke it in Jesus’ name and pray that God’s will alone should stand in your life.

My God is a very generous God. When He wants to save someone, He doesn’t just save the fellow’’s soul, He wipes away all records of that person’s sin to make it as if he had never committed any. (1 John 1:7) says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Believe me honestly, it does not matter how badly you have sinned in the past, God can still save your soul and use you for His glory. After saving your soul, He doesn’t just leave you to figure out how you can remain holy by yourself, He gives you the ability not to sin again by changing your heart from a heart of stone to one of flesh.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26) This is the real meaning of grace, when you become empowered by God to live holy.

Beyond giving you the grace to live holy, God is so generous that He can even use you to save the souls of other people from going to hell. This is such a rare privilege because anyone you bring into the kingdom of God becomes your child in the Lord (1 Corinthians 4:15). When was the last time you won a soul to Christ? When was the last time you let God use you to snatch someone from the hands of the devil into the loving hands of Christ?

If you don’t extend the same grace that God has given you to become His child to your friends and family members, you are being wicked to them. God makes the feet of those who preach His word beautiful.

…How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:15) Tell every unbeliever around you about Jesus Christ before it is too late.

The images or occurrences you see in your sleep are regarded as dreams. For Christians, it is a vital medium God uses to communicate with them. Apart from speaking to us in a still small voice, the Holy Spirit speaks through prophecies, dreams, and visions. Of these three, dreams are the most common.

If you are a child of God and you do not dream or forget your dreams, then the devil is trying to rob you. God has a purpose for every dream He gives, and it could be for any of the following reasons: to rebuke sinners, tell His children about their future or what is about to happen, warn them of impending dangers, communicate with those who cannot hear Him audibly, or to encourage and strengthen His children.

For whatever reason, God gives dreams to people for their benefit. Beloved, every dream is for a reason and should not be taken for granted, otherwise, it will only frustrate the purpose.

Today’s Confession: I confess today that the Holy Spirit rules over my spirit. I am not impulsive and abrasive, giving in to anger and emotions. My emotions are controlled by God. Therefore I give no room to negative emotions like anger to ruin my destiny in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Hallelujah!

PRAYER POINTS

Everlasting King of Glory, I worship Your Name for You are Good and Kind. Thank You for being my God and thank You for keeping me and my loved ones.

Oh Lord, I come before Your throne of grace asking for mercy today. Please show me mercy and forgive all my sin in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I surrender my life to You. Guide my steps and my actions. Help me not to lead anyone astray in Jesus’ name.

Father, please bless my going out and coming in today in the name of Jesus.

Lord, as this year comes to an end, bring an end to every affliction and evil plaguing me and my loved ones in the name of Jesus.

Oh Lord, I bring this issue before You (mention). Grant me wisdom on how to handle it and grant me victory over it in Jesus’ name.

Thank You Lord because You always hear us when we call.

Lord, bless Your son Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye for all his years of continual service, remember him, guide him on the path, help him remain focused, bless his entire household, and fulfill all Your promises for their liberation and ministry, Lord of peace, may You grant him and his family peace at all times and in every way (2 Thess. 3:16). May You equip him with everything good for doing Your will, and may You work in him what is pleasing to You, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. I ask You to deliver him from people who have wrong motives, I also pray that he will have joy in his ministry; and that he will always feel strong and refreshed in his spirit, soul, and body. in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that I live a godly and worthy life. The name of the Lord will not be brought down because of me in Jesus name.

I decree and declare that I have the fruits of the spirit. I am patient and gentle. I do not give in to anger in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that anger is completely destroyed from my life. There is no space within me for lack of control and anger in Jesus’ name.

OPEN HEAVEN 18 APRIL 2023 MESSAGE

Anger is one major tool that the devil uses to destroy destinies. Everybody knows clearly that no one just gets angry for no reason, without any provocation. Ecclesiastes 7:9 says, “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools”.

In Numbers 20:1-12, Moses – who had been labouring for God for forty years and leading a very difficult set of people, lost his temper just before he got to the promised land and so didn’t enter into it. Watch it: anytime something is about to make you angry, quickly check yourself; the devil may be preparing to spring an attack.

Anger is very dangerous. There was a man whose only problem was anger. Whenever he got angry, he could do anything. He had just bought a brand new car, parked it in front of the house and was rejoicing when his son took something sharp and scratched it on the new car. This man saw it and out of anger, used the first thing he saw – a hammer, to smash his son’s hand. The boy screamed. Upon realising what he had done, the man rushed the boy to the hospital, where the doctor said the only solution was to amputate the boy’s fingers.

The following day, he went to see the boy in the hospital and the boy said to him, “Daddy, when will my fingers grow again?” The man went back home with a very heavy heart. He then decided to go and check what the boy had written on the car anyway. The boy had written on the car, “Daddy, I love you”. The man was so devastated that he committed suicide.

Anger is temporary madness; that is why you hear people say, “I was mad with him” and they say it with pride. If you really want to fulfil your destiny, you have to deal with anger in your life.

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. (Proverbs 16:32) Rule your spirit. Don’t let anger bring you down.
