OPEN HEAVEN 13 APRIL 2023 MESSAGE

Sexual lust has destroyed and is still destroying the destinies of many. I know there are people who will tell you that even if you fool around sexually, you will still make it to heaven. Don’t let them send you to hell with their false doctrine. (1 Corinthians 3:17) says, “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are’.

You think adultery or fornication is something to be toyed with? In Numbers 31:1-16, the people of Israel were indestructible because God was solidly behind them, but then the enemy decided to send beautiful ladies into their camp and the people of Israel began to fornicate.

After that, the enemy did not need to do anything; it was God Himself who started destroying them. If you are lusting after someone you’re not married to, you had better save your destiny by staying away from such a person because that is the strategy of the devil to destroy you.

There are many people suffering all manners of plagues because of fornication and adultery. Don’t be one of them. If you are old enough for marriage, pray for God’s direction and go through the Church when you want to start your courtship with whomever God has led you to. You may Say that is ‘old-school’ mentality, but that is what has kept some of us standing and on the right path of destiny for many decades.

It is better to be old-school than to be destroyed. Let the Church be involved in your courtship and make sure that you and your spouse-to-be never meet in private places where you can commit sin.

There are many people who set themselves up to fall into fornication by being too close to the opposite sex or staying alone in private places with them. Once you notice that you are beginning to lust after someone, declare a fast immediately to kill that lust in your flesh. Lust thrives in secrecy, don’t cover it up.

Beloved, don’t engage in fornication or adultery; don’t defile the temple of God. If you do, you are calling for judgment on yourself.

God foresaw all these and warned us in 2 Timothy 3: That “In the last days men and women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.”

1. We are always right and we never accept correction. A corrector is seen as an enemy.

2. We love to sing in Church, but do not read our Bible at home.

3. We are full of lust, sensuality and emotions and we call it love.

4. We want to have wonderful marriages, but by the time we are 25 years we’ve already spent almost ten years in relationships. Sometimes, we may have had more boy lovers and girl lovers than even our parents.

5. Sexual activities are now part of our relationships, calling it romance.

6. We want to be rich in life, meanwhile, we spend all our finances on the latest ipads, iphone, laptops, cameras, smartphones, etc, which in many cases we use less than 30% of their functions.

7. We do not pay our tithes and offerings, claiming we are students.

8. We say we are Christian men & women but dress like Hollywood stars and we call it fashion.

9. We love pleasures rather than God.

10. In Church you will see us with our hands lifted up singing slow songs which we call worship but on our phones in our pockets, you will see pictures of naked and half naked women, hip hop, Antichrist, etc and we have a nice way of justifying it.

11. We are hardly convicted when we go to Church because *our hearts have been hardened* by the deceitfulness of sin and pride.

We need to change our ways, we have no excuse on judgement day.

Do you beat yourself up when things don’t go well or envy a fellow for having what you want? You have to turn a new leaf. As a child of God, a virtue that is a “must-have” is contentment as seen in our text today. Contentment shows that you appreciate God for who you are, what you have and where you are while aspiring for greater heights.

To be content is to be satisfied and happy with what you have. You are content when you are at peace both in lack and plenty: you rejoice with others regardless of what you have or don’t have.

Therefore, I implore you to always trust God’s process and not allow the “get-things-fast” mentality of many youths nowadays to deprive you of your glorious destiny. My beloved child, whatever situation you are experiencing, don’t lose sight of what God has planned for you. All your desires will come to pass if only you let God take charge.

The elders have a saying, “if children of the same mother enter into a room to talk and come out smiling, they have not told each other the truth.”

Alright, so in the next 3 minutes, you might not be smiling as I am going to tell you the truth, because am your Daddy.

Strictly speaking, I have searched the scripture, but there is nowhere that I have found where it is written if you wear make-up, you will go to hell or you will not make it to heaven, I can’t find it in the Bible.

It is not to be found anywhere at all, but I have done my own research.

There are two places in the whole Bible where references were made to painting of face, only two places, and the two places are bad. One of the places talked about Jezebel.

How many of you will name your daughter Jezebel? 2 Kings 9:30, the day Jezebel was going to die, she did makeup properly, painted her face, and dented her face with jewelry, but at the end of the day, a dog ate her.

The second place is in Jeremiah 4:29-30 where God was speaking in anger to the daughters of Zion, He says, “When I make up my mind to deal with you, you can paint your face as you like, it is not going to deliver you.” Read it, you have your Bible to read. Those are the only two places I found, and they are terrible references.

Now as far as am concerned, it is up to you to decide how you want to look, you want to make up, you want to paint yourself, you are at liberty.

If for any reason whatsoever God decides not to allow you to enter heaven, sorry o!!!

The point I’m making is this, nobody ever adds sugar to honey. Have you seen anybody adding sugar to honey? Anytime you see a piece of furniture that is painted, wooden furniture that is painted, the wood is inferior.

When the wood is ebony, nobody paints it, no no no. I think children of God should realize they are precious enough, by the special grace of God and by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. They are honey, they don’t need sugar.

Some people go about in the name of fashion wearing wigs. I’m not being judgmental at all. This is not law, there is no where in the Bible which says if you wear wigs, you can’t make it to heaven.

But this hair that you are wearing, from whose head was it cut? Do you know who was the original owner of the hair? Do you know what kind of anointing is in that hair? It is put in the most important part of your body, the head!!! “Thou anointed my head.” Things are so bad now that some ladies come for ordination with wigs on.

I always ask them, which one do you want me to anoint, the wig or the head? I told you, you will not smile by the time I finished. I have not been legalistic, I have not said thou shall not wear wig. I’m only talking to my daughters, my own children.

I read something in the book of Revelation 7:1-3. Some angels were sent from heaven to deal with the inhabitants of the world, after the rapture, the Bible says, “I heard the Almighty God said, before you begin to deal with people, let me mark them, let me seal them on their forehead, so that we know those that the bullet should not hit.”

What we wear matters. Why do you think the army wears uniforms? It is so that they will not accidentally shoot their own members.

Can God recognize you at a glance, that is, as a child of God? Some people say it does not matter, and that what is inside is what is important, I agree with the last part, but what is inside will show outside. it will show on the outside, it will show, don’t let anybody deceive you.

When I became General Overseer, I brought a group of teachers to come and teach in the Bible College and they began to teach series of things I did not bargain for. They were teaching that God is not interested in the outside, He is interested in the inside, this man (the G. O.) is legalistic, he is too strict.

So I went to Oyingbo market to buy two oranges, one ripe and the other green all over. My Bible students were beginning to turn to rebels and God gave me wisdom, so I stood before the class and I said, which of these oranges will you take if I ask you to pick one?

They all pointed at the yellow and ripe one, and I said why? They said because that one is going to be the sweeter one. How do you know when you have not seen the inside?

They all said what is inside the orange portrays and shows what is reflecting outside. An orange is sweet from its appearance because its inside is sweet and vice versa to unripe oranges….

It was at this point that I passed the real message to the people and the Holy Spirit gave them a change of heart afterward.

People of God, God cannot be mocked, you cannot begin to tell people that God only dwells in the heart of man, and seeks the heart alone and not the facial appearance, It is A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL !!! …

You cannot sit on the fence, it is either you are cold or hot… Say no to FASHION OF HELL … Why not be and remain the way God created you? Why are you adding to what God has created?

In other words, you are telling God that, “God ooh, see you are senseless to have created me this way I am, I am going to recreate myself back with make ups.” (God forbid).

May you not be an enemy of God. Amen. “Let your dressing be in modest apparel, not of painting of face or using of gold, necklaces or earrings, but of pure heart, shamefacedness and modesty.”

Have you considered Jezebel in the Bible? She was a perfect example of the usage of all these things, and she made all these things of demonic value. May you not be among her descendants in Jesus mighty name. Let your watchword be ”WORLDLINESS FORBIDDEN.”

Instead of the world copying good things from us (believers), we the believers are the one copying bad things from the world! Very shameful and pathetic!

Remember, “friendliness with the world equals enmity with God”.
Beware of the end time vices and change your ways now!

A friendship with God is never one to regret. If you deal with God in all sincerity and honesty, He will do likewise. Knowing that God has made you a friend is the best thing because He will confide in you also and share with you great things.

Father, thank You for the gift of another beautiful day.

Lord, please forgive my trespasses and show me mercy in Jesus’ name.

Father, I come to You today believing that You are a rewarder of them that diligently seek You.

Father, please put an end to every dark night and unpleasant season in my life. As You have resurrected and gotten victory, let me enjoy a new season of victory in the name of Jesus.

Father, help me to follow Your ways to get blessed and to wait on You for the blessing in Jesus’ name.

Lord, help me to flee from greed and covetousness. May I daily follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness in Jesus’ name.

Father, help me to look at what I have and be grateful. May I not be an ungrateful and greedy person in Jesus name.

Lord, bless Your son Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye for all his years of continual service, remember him, guide him on the path, help him remain focused, bless his entire household, and fulfill all Your promises for their liberation and ministry, Lord of peace, may You grant him and his family peace at all times and in every way (2 Thess. 3:16). May You equip him with everything good for doing Your will, and may You work in him what is pleasing to You, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. I ask You to deliver him from people who have wrong motives, I also pray that he will have joy in his ministry; and that he will always feel strong and refreshed in his spirit, soul, and body. in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that my night period that has lasted long and caused me sorrow, by reason of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, that night ends today in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that as Jesus has rolled the stone and sat on it, my victory is permanent in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that from today onward, every door that God opens to me will never be shut again in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that when my enemies see me coming, it’s either they run or they faint in the name of Jesus.

I declare that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or think. His thoughts towards me are thoughts of peace, to bring me to an expected end.

I decree and declare that sickness is far from my body and my household for by His stripes I am healed in the Name of Jesus.

OPEN HEAVEN 11 APRIL 2023 BIBLE READING LUKE 14:7-11

7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.

8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;

9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.

10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

OPEN HEAVEN 11 APRIL 2023 MESSAGE

A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. (Proverbs 29:23)

Pride is one of the greatest destroyers of men – especially those who have achieved something great. That means if the devil wants to bring a great man down, he does not have to bother himself sending witches and wizards to that man; all he has to do is bring out the pride in the man. Proverbs 25:27 says: It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.

Seeking glory for yourself will not bring you glory but shame. Stop seeking people to lift you on their shoulders as if you are the best thing to have come into the world; humble yourself. The devil was once a very special arch-angel in heaven, but pride got into his head because of how beautiful he was. He started seeking glory for himself, even the glory of God’s own throne. He ended up being brought so low that, at the end of time, he will be locked up in the pit of fire to suffer forever.

The prescription of God for every Christian is to prefer others above yourself in honour. Romans 12:10 says, “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another”.

The day you forget that everything you have is given to you by God is the day you begin to decline. Nebuchadnezzar was warned in Daniel 4:24-27 like I am warning you now, but he didn’t heed the counsel. Pride rose up in him and he started to boast about the things that God had done through him, calling them his achievements. He was brought so low that he was eating grass with the animals in the bush. James 4:6 says those who want the grace of God to work in their lives must be humble. Be humble, pride is a destiny destroyer.
