The word ‘’grace’’ is commonly used in the Bible to describe the demonstration of God’s goodwill towards humanity and its effects on our lives.

Grace is simply the unmerited favour of God, the supreme expression of which redemption of sinners and the full forgiveness they freely receive through faith in Jesus Christ.

The grace of God is more than enough to cover every weakness and challenge in the life of anyone who comes to Him through Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 1:14).

Throughout the Bible, God shows Himself gracious in His dealings with mankind. Reading through the Bible, we see God’s grace spoken of in relation to three overlapping terms: goodness, love and mercy.

Grace is therefore a product of God’s goodness, love and mercy towards humanity.

We all owe the blessings of life to the goodwill of the Almighty God, who makes His sun rise on the evil and good, and sends His rain on the just and unjust. There is therefore no one who has not tasted God’s grace.

Beyond this, there is a higher level of grace that sets a people apart unto God, granting them privileges which others don’t enjoy.

Those who desire to enjoy the benefits of being distinguished by grace need to recognise that God’s grace is made known today in Jesus Christ. John 1:17 says:

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Truly, divine grace is a gift of God that is exceedingly abundant in securing forgiveness and redemption for anyone dead in sin.

God’s grace raises sinners from the dunghill of shame and makes them sit together with Christ in heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6).

In addition to being more than enough, God’s grace also opens the door to healing from all kinds of sicknesses and deliverance from captivity, breaking down satanic strongholds and transforming lives.

Amazingly, even though no one deserves this grace, it is abundantly available to us all for free. Indeed, no one can meet the requirement or fulfill the condition necessary to access the benefit associated with God’s grace. This is why Ephesians 2:8-9 says:

For by grace are ye save through faith; and that not of yourself: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

We should therefore always be thankful for grace. The saving grace of Jesus Christ is available to all human beings without exception; please, don’t reject or ignore it!

Accept it with thanksgiving to God, and your life will never be the same again. Amen!

And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

It is good to have confidence, but to be overconfident is dangerous.

Over confidence is the twin brother of pride.

Do you think you are extremely brilliant while others are dullards? Maybe you think that the church choir cannot function without you.

If you are like this, you have been deceived by the devil; there are many that are better than you. Some are overconfident in their standing with God.

You believe that you cannot fall into sin like other people your age. You judge, condemn and criticise every unbeliever you know.

This is how the devil gets many Christians into sin and this is why in Matthew 7:1 that we should not judge. Judging others takes away your attention from growing in your own faith.

You begin to focus on the wrong that people do, and whatever you focus on will get bigger; the seeds will have been down in your heart and then it becomes easy to fall.

Understand that nobody can stand except by the grace of God, so for those who are in the world, pray that God gives them grace to change their ways and live holy.

KEY POINT:

The moment you start thinking that you are a spiritual giant, you are already about to fall. Pride comes before a fall.

Praise Him, the King of kings, Lord of lords, Bless the ancient of days, He is worthy to be praised, magnify His Holy name, there is no one like Him, He is the light of the world, when He says let there be light there must be light, praise Him, He is worthy to be praised, magnify him, give Him all glory and honor, praise Him in advance for what He is about to do this week in your life, bless Him.

Hearkening diligently with all your strength not casually. If your life does not change drastically after this week there is very little hope for you.

THINGS THAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN YOU HEARKEN DILIGENTLY TO GOD;

There are false teachers rising up every day with different kinds of teachings and beliefs, using their influence to spread erroneous teachings to unsuspecting believers. Avoid such people and reject their teachings.

Let us run with the message of the true gospel to every part of the world, reminding people that those who are not on the Lord’s side on the last day will face eternal damnation.

Let us do the work of an evangelist, which includes going after those people straying from the flock of Christ. These are those who started well but have become consumed with the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches.

The signs of the second coming of Christ are daily being fulfilled before our very eyes. In order not to be caught unawares, we must prepare ourselves daily through self-examination.

The theme for this years convention is “AND GOD SAID”

For workers and house fellowship leaders
God said in Matthew 21:13a My house shall be called the hose of prayer, Psalms 65:2. He promised to answer prayer, Jeremiah 33:3.

Everyone of you looking after house fellowship center, working in the house of God for one thing or the other, your house shall overflow with testimonies

Mark 1:40-45 Miracles that you can’t keep quiet about will begin to happen in your lives today, Testimony will never cease in the homes of those working for the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark 5:2-20.

Your testimonies will bring millions of people to the kingdom of God.

1 Samuel 1:1-20 you and those that attend the house fellowship will never know bareness again. 2 Chronicles 20:1- 37.

All those that planned to destroy you will be gone before you got home after this convention. His house is a house of prayer, testimony for the sick, bound, barren and oppressed.

Using your house as the house fellowship center will turn your house to a house of prayer and testimonies.

Congratulation to the house fellowship leaders and workers for allowing the house of God to move into your house.

2 Samuel 6:9-12 As long as you allow God to stay put in your house, your testimony will never end.

Your house that is hosting house fellowship can be a beginning of a new thing from God. What God is stating in your house now will become mighty.

PRAYER

Thank the almighty God for making your house His home.

Father, make my house a house of prayer and mighty testimonies.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

MESSAGE:

Several years ago, at the end of the year, I was praying when I told God “Lord, I will tell your children during the cross over service that you are a good God and you give me plenty of blessings, but between me and you, we know that you did not do anything good for me this year”.

I continued praying this way when God responded. He said “Son, how many times did you travel this year?”

I said “I can’t count” then He said “How many times did you have an accident?” I responded “No time”.

“How many times did you or your family members fall sick?”I said “a number of times” “Did anyone die from such sicknesses?” He asked. “No”. “How many times did you sleep this year?” He queried.

“Every night” I answered, “Did you ever die in your sleep?” I quickly interrupted Him because I had been accusing Him wrongly.

I realised that He had done a whole lot for me, but I was being an ingrate.

Are you also guilty of accusing God wrongly? Have you thanked God for the seemingly small things that He has been doing for you?

Those small things matter far more than the big things we usually consider. Imagine if you did not wake up from sleep this morning, will the question of a fine cloth to wear be an issue?
