MEMORISE: For God so loved the world, that He
Gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. John 3:16

Please read: Psalm 50:10-12

MESSAGE:
Until you move God, nothing moves. But when you succeed in moving Him, everything else moves. Giving, compassion, faith, service, etc. are some of the things that move God.

Rccg Sunday School Manual 2018

Whenever it is time to offer something to God, rejoice
because it is an opportunity for you to proclaim your love to Him.

When you give cheerfully to God, you provoke God to move the earth on your behalf.

Anyone who is in love will do anything for the one he loves. Do you really love God? How have you shown that love? Do you give to God cheerfully?

If you truly love God, even when
nobody is asking for an offering, you will want to give. A major way to show love to God is by
showing love to your fellow men. How generous
are you to your friends and neighbors, do they
have to beg and beg before you stingily give?

ACTION POINT:
John 3:16 says God’s love moved Him to give His best. What has your love moved you to do for God?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 32-33
Mark 10:1-31

Hymn 13
1. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is the love of God flowing through you?
Are you telling the lost of the Savior?
Are you ready His service to do?

Chorus:
Make me a channel of blessing today,
Make me a channel of blessing, I pray;
My life possessing, my service blessing,
Make me a channel of blessing today.

2. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Are you burdened for those that are lost?
Have you urged upon those who are straying
The Savior who does on the cross?

3. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is it a daily telling for Him?
Have you spoken the word of salvation
To those who are dying in sin?

4. We cannot be channels of blessing
If our lives are not free from known sin;
We will barriers be and a hindrance
To those we are trying to win.

Open Heaven 5 March 2018 Daily Devotional Message

Every call unto to arise in the Bible takes its cue from Numbers 10:35:

“And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.”

At this point in time, the children of Israel spent 13 months at Mount Sinai after their miraculous deliverance from Egypt, and it was time to take their very first steps on their journey to the Promise Land.

It was like a journey into the unknown and they were sore afraid of the militant nations that they had to pass through on their way to their destination. Therefore, as they set out on this phase of their victory march to the Promised Land, they had to call upon God for divine support. Open Heaven 4 March 2018

“Let God Arise” is therefore a call for divine assistance. It is a call for divine intervention, and a call to secure victory over perceived enemies without a fight. Today, the Lord will arise for your sake as a might warrior and scatter all your enemies in Jesus’ Name

Open Heavens 5 March 2018

We as children of God today should take a cue from the Israelites of old. They cried “Arise O Lord” in times of trial. Since we must also confront similar trials on our journeythrough the wilderness of life, we must learn to look unto God alone for help as we call on Him to arise for our sake and deal with everything that stands as an obstacle to our progress in life.

In our daily supplications to God, we must cry “Arise O Lord” so that our enemies will be scattered. The Israelites cried “Arise O Lord” in confident expectation of victory over all their enemies through God’s intervention. Rccg Sunday School Manual 4th March 2018

Therefore, no matter how perilous the circumstances may be, and no matter how perilous the circumstances may be, and no matter how powerful your enemies are, the Lord will arise for sake if you call on Him with the expectation shall not be disappointed in Jesus’ Name.

Note that the Israelites called unto God to arise and scatter their enemies as the only safeguard to their continued existence. Moses never deemed himself and the children of Israel to be secure without the divine protection of the Almighty God. For this reason, he pleaded thus with God in Exodus 33:15b:

“If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.”

Even when you are at peace, you must remember that the devil, who goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour, is never at rest. He is ever ready to take advantage of anyone who is careless, carefree or without protection. The devil will not devour you in Jesus’ Name.

Father, please arise and favour me in the battle that my enemies are waging against my life and destiny in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 5 March 2018 Hymn 11

O GOD, OUR HELP IN AGES PAST

O God, our help in ages past,

Our hope for years to come,

Our shelter from the stormy blast,

And our eternal home.

Under the shadow of Thy throne

Thy saints have dwelt secure;

Sufficient is Thine arm alone,

And our defence is sure

Before the hills in order stood,

Or earth receive her frame,

From everlasting Thou art God,

To endless years the same.

A thousand ages in Thy sight

Are like an evening gone;

Short as the watch that ends the

night

Before the rising sun.

Time, like an ever-rolling stream,

Bears all its sons away

They fly forgotten, as a dream

Dies at the opening day.

O God. Our help in ages past,

Our hope for years to come,

Be Thou our guard while life

Shall last,

And our external home.

INTRODUCTION
Marriage is the oldest human institution. It is older than the Church or any human government. Marriage has been ordained of the Lord for companionship and the procreation of the race. Marriage leads to the establishment of homes for children where happiness and joy can reign (Proverbs 18:22). Although we live in the days of low moral standards, when marriage vows are easily broken and divorce is considered common, God’s law and standard do not change. Any Christian who breaks his marriage vows is therefore playing with fire.

Any Christian who breaks his marriage vows is therefore playing with fire.

LESSON OUTLINES
1. Why should we marry?
2. Who should a Christian marry?

WHY SHOULD WE MARRY?
There are several reasons we should marry if we feel led by God to do so. Some of the reasons are:
a. To obey the command of God (Genesis 1:28; 2:24).
b. For fellowship (Genesis 2:18).
c. For partnership (Ecclesiastes 4:9-11). It takes to make “one flesh”. (Genesis 2:24).
d. To satisfy the sexual and emotional desires that are good, holy and legitimate but can only be satisfied in marriage (1Corinthians 7:2, 9).
e. For the propagation of the human race (Genesis 9:1).

WHO SHOULD A CHRISTIAN MARRY?
Christians may only marry Christians – 2Corinthians 6:14-17. In God’s sight, it is unacceptable for a godly person and ungodly one to be united in holy matrimony to be one flesh. How can they be one when one serves God, in holiness and righteousness, while the other serves sin and Satan? In 2Corinthians 6:14-17, we have six clear reasons a believer should not marry an unbeliever:
1. God’s command: ‘be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers’ (vs 14a).
2. Reghteousness has no fellowship with unrighteousness (vs 14b).
3. Light has no communion with darkness (vs 14c).
4. Christ has no concord with Belial (vs 15a).
5. Believers have no part with infidels (vs 15b).
6. God’s temple has no agreement with idols (vs 16a).
It is easy then to see that the question that naturally comes to mind is, how can this two set of people who are so different, form a true partnership and have joyful fellowship?

CONCLUSION:
Marriage is an honourable institution that believers must prayerfully and watchfully enter into. It is more of a spiritual affair than just being physical.

QUESTIONS
1. Why should we marry?
2. Who should a Christain marry?

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TEENS SATURDAY 3RD MARCH 2018: EXCUSE FACTORY

Open Heaven 3 March 2018

MEMORISE: The sluggard will not plow by the reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in the harvest, and have nothing. Proverbs 20:4

Please read: Luke 14:16-24

MESSAGE:
A sluggard is one who hates work. He or she is idle and attracts pain and disappointment to
those who depend on him. If your parents cannot
depend on you to carry out your chores, you are
a sluggard, if you repeatedly fail to submit your
assignments as at when due, you are a sluggard.
If you do not know how to manage your time well, you are a sluggard. Time is one of the greatest assets on earth, and you are supposed
to use it to equip yourself in needed skills, knowledge and education.

A sluggard will give reasons and excuses to explain why they are not equipping themselves and getting anything done with their time, but in actual fact, they are mismanaging their time and allowing their life to waste away. A sluggard is
destined to fail.

Reject every excuse for failure no matter how reasonable it sounds. Don’t be an
excuse factory.

ACTION POINT:
Wherever excuse is present, there must be losses

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Numbers 30-31
Mark 9:30-50

Hymn 2
1. When we walk with the Lord in the light of His
Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Chorus:
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

2. Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the
skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

3. Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

4.But we never can prove the delights of His
love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

5. Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His
feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will
go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

OPEN HEAVEN 4 MARCH 2018 DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE [SUNDAY]

Many passages of the Bible make it very clear that the healing power of God is available to heal all manner of sickness and diseases without any limitation. Matthew 8:16 says,

“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:”

Luke 6:19 also says,

“And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.”

It is important to note that in the instances cited above and on several other occasions, Jesus healed all the sicknesses in all the people who came to Him (Matthew 12:15; Matthew 14:36). Read: A letter to my son about Pornography

I therefore prophesy to you that God’s healing power will touch you right now and make you completely whole of everything that is troubling your spirit, soul and body in Jesus’ Name.

OPEN HEAVEN 4 MARCH 2018

However, the plan of healing set forth in the Bible is not arbitrary; rather, it is based on some conditions being fulfilled first. This means that there are conditions for divine healing, and we must understand and conform to the standard of the word of God if we hope to receive divine healing. Read: Great Marriage Tips For Couples and Singles

First of those conditions is repentance and forsaking of sin (Matthew 9:2, John 5:14, James 5:15). This is followed by faith in God’s ability to perform the desired healing.

Faith is always required of the individual who is seeking healing, in as much as he or she is capable of exercising it (Matthew 8:13, Mark 5:34, John 4:50). Understanding the cause or source of a sickness can also facilitate healing. Read: How to discover your spiritual gifts

The Bible teaches that sicknesses and diseases are agents of death, which came into this world through sin (Genesis 2:17), 2nd Kings 20:1, Romans 5:12).

These agents of death are propagated through nature, Satan and disobedience to God. Some human afflictions are directly traceable to natural causes (2nd Kings 13:14, Daniel 8:27), while Satan also afflicts and oppresses people with sicknesses (Job 2:7, Luke 13:16). Read: Open Heaven 3 February 2018

Furthermore, many are sick because they disobeyed God’s commandments (Micah 6:13, 1st Corinthians 11:30). The good news is that anyone who completely obedient to God’s word can live a life that is untouchable by the agents of death.

Prayer Point: Open Heaven 4 March 2018

Father, please give me the grace to live in complete obedience to Your word for the rest of my life in Jesus Name.
