Today’s Bible reading reveals how our Lord Jesus Christ prioritized His mission of redeeming humanity through His death. and that He didn’t mind going through humbling and humiliating experiences just to fulfil His assignment.

Beloved, seek God’s interests by doing His will, preaching the gospel, and giving to the needy: all other things, such as peace, wisdom, and excellence, will be added unto you. The memory verse clearly says seeking the kingdom of God should be the basis of all your priorities in life: all other things will fall in line afterwards.

Unfortunately, the reverse is the case today. There is a disconnection between the priorities many people set for themselves and the ones the Almighty God has set for their lives. Some teenagers want to ride the best cars and live large so that people can say that they have ‘arrived’.

This attitude has pushed many into heinous crimes such as cybercrimes, ritual killings, et cetera. My dear child, put God before your dreams and He will bless you beyond your expectations.

OPEN HEAVEN 15 MAY 2023 MESSAGE

There are people who are bound financially. In Haggai 1:6, the Bible tells us that it is possible to earn wages into a bag of holes. In other words, the fellow makes money, but the money keeps on disappearing. There are people who, on sitting to calculate their income, wonder where the money went.

I know what this is like because before I met the Lord Jesus Christ, I was in this exact position. There are forces that can make sure that what you are earning is not producing the result it’s supposed to, but that will end today, in Jesus’ name.

According to Revelation 3:7, Jesus Christ is the One who has the key of David and what He opens, no man can shut; what He shuts, no man can open. Today, He will shut the door against those taking away your money and open the door of blessings for you, in Jesus’ name.

Being in debt is being in captivity but my God can wipe any amount of debt off in less than twenty-four hours (Proverbs 22:7). One of my sons came to a Partners’ meeting and I prayed that the next time I would be seeing him, every debt he was owing would be paid off. He said, “Amen”, but found it hard to believe it would happen.

Some days later, the chairman of the bank he owed called him and asked, “How are you going to pay this your debt?” My son replied, “Sir, even if I’m paying you one million naira for every day that I have lived on earth, I cannot finish paying and you know it”. He was over 50 years old. Not long after, the bank wrote off his debt. If you are in any form of debt right now, I decree that it will be cleared within the next twenty – four hours, in Jesus’ name.

Sometimes, it is not just one fellow who is in financial captivity, but the entire family. Had it not been for God in the Adeboye family, maybe we would still have been one of the poorest households in my village today.

My parents could not afford to sponsor my education, but the Almighty God somehow got me educated up to the Ph.D. level, then continued to raise me higher and higher. Today, by the special grace of God, the Adeboye family is a blessing to my entire village. If your family is poor, God will lift you all out of poverty too, in Jesus’ name.

Let’s address a topic that has been a source of pain and shame for many believers – MAST*RBATION.

Mast*rbation is a form of se*ual immorality that is becoming more rampant in our society today. It’s robbing believers of their joy, peace, and purity.

As an Inclusive Christian Community, it is our duty to help one another on this important issue and provide practical solutions that are Bible-backed to conquer it.

We encouraged you to “fast” along as you pray these prayers for the next 10 days if you can. Please, confirm with your doctor before you start fasting. You can join the prayers without fasting. What is more important is that you are WILLING to allow the Holy Spirit work on you.

No one is permitted to condemn you, including yourself. PAY ATTENTION

MAST*RBATION is a sin that we cannot afford to take lightly. It is an act that is directly opposed to the will of God and His purpose for our lives. It is a destructive habit that leads to guilt, shame, and self-condemnation.

It steals our time, our energy, and our focus from the things that truly matter. But the good news is that with God, all things are possible. He has given us the power to overcome every sin and every temptation that comes our way, including mast*rbation.

One of the first steps towards conquering mast*rbation is to acknowledge that it is a sin and to ask for God’s forgiveness. We must also renew our minds and fill our hearts with God’s word.

We must pray and fast, and surround ourselves with people who will support us in our journey to freedom. It is also important to identify the triggers and situations that lead us to engage in mast*rbation and to avoid them. We must take practical steps to guard our hearts and minds against the enemy’s attacks.

1. Friends who encourage mast*rbation, we must avoid them at all cost
2. Sites and Media elements that make it difficult to quit must be avoided 
3. Sounds and environments that encourage mast*rbation must be avoided

Oh Lord my God, remove every veil of darkness from my understanding, according to Ephesians 4:18, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, open the eyes of my understanding so that I may comprehend Your will for my life, according to Ephesians 1:18, in the mighty name of Jesus.

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

OPEN HEAVEN 14 MAY 2023 MESSAGE

There are people who are bound mentally. The mental capacity of such persons are under siege and have been tampered with. Ephesians 4:18 says the understanding of some people could be darkened by forces of darkness.

When somebody has been trying to explain something to you and you suddenly get the point, you say, “Oh, I see”. You are not talking about your physical eyes but about the eyes of your understanding.

I was in the academic world for quite a while before the Lord called me into full-time ministry and I know the pain of students who study hard for examinations but still end up failing. A well prepared student can get to the examination hall and just blank out. It has happened to me before as an undergraduate. I got into the examination hall for a particular course I was very good in, only to blank out.

I was unable to understand any of the eight questions from which I was to answer five. At a point, I decided to give up and leave the hall, since I could rewrite the exam later on. I was about to stand up when an invisible hand pressed me down. I wasn’t born again then, but I know it was the Almighty. I sat, and for fifteen minutes, I saw all my colleagues writing furiously while I remained blank.

After a while, I started reading the questions again and this time, the eyes of my understanding were opened. I knew the answers to all the questions. I answered all eight questions and wrote at the top of my answer sheet for my lecturer, “Mark any five”. I know it was the Lord Almighty that removed the veil from my understanding.

If the devil has put a veil on your understanding, God will remove it today, in Jesus’ name.

There was a boy who was so dull that when he was moved from a class of ten to one of thirty, his position would change from 10th to 30th. Both his parents were professors and came to me with the boy for prayers when I was at their University for a programme.

We prayed and in the next exam he wrote, he scored the highest. His teachers said it was impossible, so they isolated him in the classroom and gave him another exam. This time, he scored even higher.

I pray for you again that anything that may have not allowed your brain to function at its full capacity up to now is removed, in Jesus’ name.

LESSON INTRODUCTION : The word ‘CURSE’ according to the scripture is the act of summoning all forces on earth and heaven to destroy someone. I.e. appealing to supernatural power for harm to come to a specific person or group. In other words, to curse means utter a wish of evil against someone, to imprecate evil upon someone, to call for mischie or injury to fall upon someone.

From these above definitions, one can say God hate cursing that’s why 1 John 3:8 says one of the reasons Christ came is to destroy the works of the devil in which curse is one. And we concluded this part, may the almighty God destroy every chain of curse around us in Jesus might name.

WHAT CAN CAUSE CURSING?

1. Disobedient to divine order. Genesis 3:14

2. Exposing someone’s secret. Genesis 9:21-25

3. Lact of Self control . Genesis 49:5-7

4. Blaspheming God’s name and His act Leviticus 24: 11-16.

5. Not accepting the officer of salvation. Deuteronomy 27:15.

6. Neglecting your divine responsibilites i.e Tithe payment. Malachi 3:8-9, supporting the needy, windows, orphans. Zechariah 7;10 Roman 12:13, 1Timothy 3:12, 1 peter 4:9

WHO CAN CAUSE?
1. The Almighty God. Genesis 3:14, 4:11

2. Spiritual and biological parents. Genesis 9;21-25, 2 king 5:25-27

WHY GOD FORBIDS CURSING
Curse came to the world through the act of disobedient and other factors but God forbids curse because CURSE;

3. Brings generational struggles and spells. Joshua 6:26, 1 King 16:34.

Do you think Solomon would have gotten a blank cheque from God if all he did was to complain about how he would rule the kingdom his father left for him? (1 Kings 3:4-5.)

Do you know that when God looks down from Heaven upon the earth, He is looking for people praising Him in spirit and truth? Those who are close to me know that as I go about my activities throughout the day, I am always singing praises to God so that He will always find praise when He looks in my direction because I want Him to always be with me.
