OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 1 APRIL 2024 MONDAY

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 1 APRIL 2024 MEMORISE: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 1 APRIL 2024 READ: Genesis 13:5-18
[5]And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.
[6]And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.
[7]And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.
[8]And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.
[9]Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
[10]And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
[11]Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.
[12]Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
[13]But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
[14]And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
[15]For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
[16]And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
[17]Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.
[18]Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 1 APRIL 2024 MESSAGE

Several years ago, I suddenly started feeling feverish with pains all over my body, so I lay in bed.
Then, I started listening to a recorded message on healing. The preacher said, “All you need to do now is to claim your healing.”
I was not convinced enough, but the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “It is because you want to be sick.”
So, I struggled to get dressed and go to Church because my body was not willing.
When I got to the Church, the pastor said we should all stand up and dance, then I told myself, “This man wants to kill me today.”
I held on to the bench and danced. After a while, I felt the urge to use the toilet; by the time I walked from the toilet back to the church, all the symptoms had disappeared.
On my way back, the Holy Spirit said, “You are what you decide to be.” Since that day, I decided the devil would never knock me down again.
My child, what you have today is dependent on what you decided yesterday.
The free will God has given you has tremendous power over your life. Therefore, choose wisely because whatever you decide is what you will be.
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 1 APRIL 2024 KEY POINT
Make wise decisions
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 1 APRIL 2024 HYMN 8 – LEAD US HEAVENLY FATHER, LEAD US
1. Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us
O’er the world’s tempestuous sea;
Guard us, guide us, keep us, feed us,
For we have no help but Thee,
Yet possessing every blessing
If our God our Father be.
2. Saviour, breathe forgiveness o’er us;
All our weakness Thou dost know;
Thou didst tread this earth before us,
Thou didst feel its keenest woe;
Lone and dreary, faint and weary,
Through the desert Thou didst go.
3. Spirit of our God, descending,
Fill our hearts with heavenly joy,
Love with every passion blending,
Pleasure that can never cloy;
Thus provided, pardoned, guided,
Nothing can our peace destroy.

MEMORISE: And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:3
READ: Psalms 40:1-3
[1](To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
[2]He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
[3]And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
In the life of every child of God, I Easter morning represents a new beginning which ushers in a new song. In today’s Bible reading, David waited on God in his unpleasant situation, and He heard him, changed his status, and put a new song in his mouth. This Easter morning, God will put a new song in your mouth, in Jesus’ name.
Jesus rose on Easter Sunday so that you can have a new name. He rose so you can become a co-heir with Him. He rose and you now have hope that you will reign with Him eternally when rapture takes place. What a privilege! I pray that every negative name you have been given shall be changed this season, in Jesus’ name. Just like no one can ignore Jesus, you shall not be despised in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, if Jesus has not risen in your life, then Easter is meaningless. Ask Him to come into your heart today so that you, too, can become a co-heir.
ACTION POINT
Thank God for the new beginning He has made available to you.
Finish this verse from 1 Thessalonians: Pray without ……………..
HYMN 5 – JESUS, MY LORD, MY GOD, MY ALL
1. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all,
Hear me, blest Saviour, when I call;
Hear me, and from Thy dwelling place
Pour down the riches of Thy grace;
Jesus, my Lord, I Thee adore;
Oh make me love Thee more and more.
2. Jesus, too late I Thee have sought;
How can I love Thee as I ought?
And how extol Thy matchless fame,
The glorious beauty of Thy name?
3. Jesus, what didst Thou find in me,
That Thou hast dealt so lovingly?
How great the joy that Thou hast brought
So far exceeding hope or thought!
4. Jesus, of Thee shall be my song,
To Thee my heart and soul belong;
All that I have or am is Thine,
And Thou, blest Saviour, Thou art mine.

[5] Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
[6] who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
[7] And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
[8] So it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
[9] And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 30 MARCH 2024 MESSAGE

A sister was under satanic harassment, and she thought she was going to die. She prayed, but it was persistent.
Then, it occurred to her that she should call a particular minister who lived miles away in another state.
She made the call, and the minister prayed with her over the phone. After the call, the harassment ceased, and death passed over her.
There are some situations in your life or the lives of those around you just waiting for you to say a word before a change occurs.
Until the word comes, things will remain the same, but as soon as you release the word, Heaven’s power will be released, and the desired change will come.
Unfortunately, many Christians are still withholding the word that could bring about their desired change. To benefit from the memory verse today, let the word of God dwell richly in your heart.
Beloved, use your mouth to deliver yourself from whatever unpleasant situation you may be passing through. Speak positivity to your life, and all will be well with you.

2. WAYS TO BE INTENTIONAL
1. INTENTIONAL PARENTING DESCRIBED
Intentional parenting means parenting with a goal (Habakkuk 2:2). It means being able to think through every step of your child’s stage of development (1Samuel 1:11). Intentional parenting means making informed and conscious parenting choices (Genesis 24:3-4; 1 Samuel 1:24).

Intentional parenting focuses on; what parents can do to help their children succeed (2Timothy 1:5; Proverbs 13:22a); what specific actions they will take to support their children’s strengths and weaknesses (Exodus 18:15-24; Ruth 3:1-5); how parents will facilitate the development of their children and what the outcome will look like (2 Timothy 3:14-15).

The goal of intentional parenting is to help children walk in the footsteps of godly parents (1 Corinthians 11:1). It is not permissive parenting; it involves giving up control to God while we intentionally do our part as parents (Genesis 18:19; Joshua 24:15). BIBLE PASSAGE: 2 Kings 6:1-2 (NKJV)
[1]And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we dwell with you is too small for us.
[2]Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell.” So he answered, “Go.”
MEMORY VERSE: ‘‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’’ Philippians 4:13 (NKJV).
INTRODUCTION: A limit is a point or level beyond which something or someone does not or may not extend or pass. There are people who limit themselves by setting a barrier to what they can achieve or how far they can go in life. For some people, statements such as, “why did I ever come into this family?’’ ‘‘Can I make it in life?’’ ‘‘I know I can never reach that height’’ are very common in their words, thoughts, or actions. It is important therefore to identify factors capable of limiting you and how to enlarge your scope.
1. FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR LIMITATIONS
2.ENLARGE YOUR SCOPE
1. FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR LIMITATIONS
Several factors can be responsible for human limitations, but we shall examine the following:
1. Fear of the unknown or uncertainty (Numbers 13:33).
2. Refusal to make good use of the opportunities around to do exploits (Matthew 25:24-25).
3. Placing an embargo on self (1 Kings 19:4).
4. Failure to network with people of like passion (1 Samuel 22:1-2).
5. Incessant complaints and excuses (1 Corinthians 10:10).
6. Being passive about life: “Life will not give you what you desire but what you demand.” (Joshua 14:12).
7. Inactive prayer life. Some limitations need divine intervention – like Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10).
8. Unwarranted covenant entered into ignorantly or deceitfully (Joshua 9:6; 22-23).
9. Living continuously in regrets (Philippians 3:13-14).
CLASS ACTIVITY 1: Students should mention other factors responsible for limitations.
2. ENLARGE YOUR SCOPE
You must be deliberate to enlarge your scope (Luke 12:18). Knowledge is power, make conscious efforts to add to what you know to grow big (Proverbs 2:10-11; 8:12). You need to do more than what you are doing now (Ecclesiastes 11:6) – there is always room for improvement. Confront your fears, deal with them, and see a new lease of life open before you (Numbers 27:1-7). It is necessary to develop the ‘I can do it’ attitude (Philippians 4:13). Step into new terrains, be bold to take over territories, and move upward on the ladder of success (Joshua 15:13-14). Prayerfully remove any seal that wants to limit you (1 Chronicles 4:10). Believe that no force can limit you (1 Peter 2:6; Ephesians 1:20-21; 2:6).
CLASS ACTIVITY 2: Students should mention what they are doing currently to enlarge their coast
CONCLUSION: Take the limits off and be the best you can. There is room at the top for you!

LESSON AIM: To learn how to exceed limits.
TEACHING OBJECTIVES:Through this lesson, students should be able to:
a. Understand the term “limit”.
b. Identify factors constituting limits.
c. Know how to enlarge their coast.

1. FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR LIMITATIONS
2. ENLARGE YOUR SCOPE
Some limitations need divine intervention – like Jabez (1Chronicles 4:9-10).
8. Unwarranted covenant entered into ignorantly or deceitfully (Joshua 9:6; 22-23).
9. Living continuously in regrets (Philippians 3:13-14).

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 29 MARCH 2024 FRIDAY

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 29 MARCH 2024 FRIDAY : MIRACLE OF A SEED III

MEMORISE: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

READ: JOHN 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

MESSAGE
When God gave His only begotten son to die for the sins of the world, it must have caused an uproar in Heaven because no father can give up his son and not be sad about it. No wonder Matthew 27:46 says: “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”

However, God reaped a lot of children by sowing the seed of one child. The basis of His sacrifice is love. Today, we think about what God did over 2023 years ago, and we appreciate Him for His benevolence.
If you say you truly love God, then nothing should be too big to give to Him. Cultivate the habit of giving quality gifts to God now that you are still young. When your gifts, tithes, offerings, time, resources, energy, et cetera, are triggered by love, God will respond by blessing you in a big way.

KEY POINT
The size of the gift to God is not as important as the thoughtfulness and the willingness to give.

HYMN 15 – CONQUERORS AND OVERCOMES NOW ARE WE
1 Conquerors and overcomes now are we,
Thro’ the precious blood of Christ we’ve victory
If the Lord be for us, we can never fail,
Nothing ‘gainst His mighty pow’r can e’er prevail.

CHORUS
Conquerors are we, through the blood of Jesus,
God will give us victory, through the blood of Jesus
Thro’ the Lamb for sinners slain,
Yet who lives and reigns again,
More than conquerors are we,
More than conquerors are we.

2. In the name of Israel’s God we’ll onward press,
Overcoming sin and all unrighteousness;
Not to us, but unto Him the praise shall be,
For Salvation and for blood bought victory.

3 Unto him that overcometh shall be given,
Here to eat of hidden manna sent from heav’n,
Over yonder he the victors palm shall bear,
And a robe of white, and golden crown shall wear.

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 28 MARCH 2024 MEMORISE: Be not be deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 28 MARCH 2024 READ: Galatians 6:7-10
[7]Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
[8]For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
[9]And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
[10]As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 28 MARCH 2024 MESSAGE

As a farmer, I understand that a seed has the potential to become a forest when sown in the right soil that has a corresponding climate that can enable it grow.
When a farmer plants a kernel of corn, that one kernel has the capacity to produce a stalk with several ears that contains many kernels of corn.
What a multiplying effect!
Similarly, all humans will reap what they sow, and in most cases, you will reap more than you are sowing right now.
Many young people practice rebellion against their parents and engage in sinful acts willingly with the intention to ask God for forgiveness later, forgetting the warning in
Ecclesiastes 12:10: “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not….”
Dear child, there are evil days ahead of everyone who does evil in their young age.
There are consequences for all evil and foolish actions because you cannot mock the justice of God.
Check through your life and see if there is anything you must stop now.
Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen your conviction and help you turn a new leaf.
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 28 MARCH 2024 ACTION POINT
No one disobeys God’s commands and escapes divine punishment.
HYMN 18 – TIS SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS
1 ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!
2 O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me
‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
3 Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.
4 I’m so glad Learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend,
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.
