I have a word for those of you who are my children.

At the beginning of the year, I asked you to fast for 50 days and you did so without asking why. You fasted because you trust me.
With the same trust, I want you to go ahead and relax.

No plague is coming near you; you can take the Word of God from me.
If you didn’t fast, it’s not too late to fast.

At the beginning of the year, I told you that God told me that the earth would behave like a child having convulsions. There was something extra He said that I didn’t share.

He told me that this year, the whole world will go on a compulsory holiday. The last time the world came close to this was 9/11. I thought it was going to repeat itself. I kept my mouth shut because I didn’t want to be seen as having info I didn’t share.

Daddy wants to show the world that He’s still the One on the throne. As soon as He shows to the world that He can shut down the whole world, He will remove the plague. How long that will take I cannot tell you.

So my children, enjoy this public holiday that God has given you.
You may ask, why would God allow sickness? Is the devil not the author of evil?

Yes he is, but God controls the devil.
Someone did a research and found out that the number of people that have died from malaria is more than 5 times the number of those who have died from Corona virus.

The reason why it is out there is because it is a noisy pestilence.
When God is done with what He wants to do, the plague will subside, but it will not totally go.

Maintain strict hygiene even beyond COVID-19.
The governments have tried within human ability. The Lord God Almighty will bless them all.

The compulsory holiday has already started in the major nations of the world, especially those who boast in what they can do.

Don’t be surprised at those who are mocking prayers; just pray for them because they’re mocking the One who answers prayers. Don’t get angry at them, just pray for them.

I see many Christians pray about something for a while and then stop.

They begin to adjust to the problem, looking for ways to cope with it.

This is foolishness. Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:3 said that we must be like children.

When a child wants something, he/she keeps crying until the parent understands what they want and give it to them.

You may say, “No, I don’t want to be a bother to God”. Who told you He is bothered by your requests?

He is the one that said you should ask that your joy may be full.

He is the who gave the illustration of the widow and the wicked judge in Luke 18:1-8.

So why do you think that you should stop asking Him for what you want.

Are your parents separated and you want them back together? Don’t stop asking God for their reunion.

Are you ill in a part of your body and you are tired of praying for healing?

Don’t stop. Is there anything you have stopped asking God for? Don’t stop. Ask until your joy is full.

You can never tell, maybe you just need one more prayer to get your miracle.

ACTION POINT:
Bring to remembrance the prayers that you have gotten tired of praying and begin again to knock heaven’s doors for answers.

MESSAGE:

When you go to Church and instead of listening to the message from the altar, you are busy browsing through social media, do you realise you are insulting God?

Will you be in the presence of President of Nigeria and look into your phone?

How much more the President of all presidents.

Don’t you think God deserves your full attention when you come to His presence.

You have every other day and time for your phone, at least when you are in Church, you should be focused on Jesus and Him alone.

Focusing in your phone when you are in Church is literally replacing God with something or someone else.

Exodus 34:14 says that our God is a jealous God and He does not like His children replacing Him with anything else.

Being in Church and concentrating on your phone is like a hungry man going into a restaurant and concentrating on the television when a plate of food is placed before him.

He will leave the restaurant hungry and begin to complain about being hungry.

The solution to many of the problems you complain about has been served to you in the Church, but because you were on the phone, you left without getting it, so the problems still lingered. Turn a new leaf today.

KEY POINT:
God’s time is God’s time. Don’t give it to social media or any other distractions.

CENTRAL TRUTH: God wants to use you.

INTRODUCTION: A treasure is something of great value. The Lord had chosen Barak to go against Sisera, the enemy of Israel, in war through the prophecy of Deborah.

Barak was afraid to go unless Deborah goes to war with him. Deborah was like a pillar, strength and asset for Barak. She was courageous and bold.

CONCLUSION: Be a shining example. A treasure is a vessel fit for the master´s use. God has chosen you to be a treasure by bearing fruits.

LESSON INTRODUCTION:

Mercy is the ability to forgive and forget the sins of others. It may also be defined as an act of being compassionate to others, especially those who ordinarily would not have been forgiven.

Jonah 2:1-10, Jonah 4:2. Favour, on the other hand, is an act of kindness performed or granted out of goodwill to others. 1Chronicle 28:4, 1Kings 3:7.

Divine mercy and favour therefore is God’s ability to forgive human beings their sins and thereafter show kindness willingly, without any string attached to it.

1 Kings 3:6.

We pray that more than what we know, the master teacher, that is the holy Spirit, will reveal more, to us as we study together, In Jesus Name. Amen

CHARACTERISTICS OF DIVINE MERCY AND FAVOUR.

The under listed characteristics distinguished divine mercy and favour of mankind:

1. It is God’s prerogative, exclusively, to decide who is qualified to receive His mercy and favour. Romans 9:15-16, Matthew 17: 14-19, 1 Samuel 2:26, Matthew 20:30-34.

2. Man cannot have mercy and show favour unto someone unless ordained by God. Esther 2:15-17, 1Samuel 2:26.

3. Man’s mercy and favour are always done with strings attached.

4. They are also with ulterior motives.

5. God’s mercy and favour once he makes the statement, it’s performance is guaranteed.

6. God’s mercy endureth forever. 1 Chronicles 16: 34.

It is never to face marital problems and deal with the pains and wounds that have been inflicted., if couples are I willing to stay and work it out, they can usually restore the marriage and be happier than before.

It should be noted that when God approaches marital problems, He does so from the perspective of how to fix them, not how to dissolve the marriage (Malachi 2:16). The message of God for you today is that there are ways to get your marriage back on track.

WHY MARITAL BLOWS?

At the root of most marital problems is selfishness. Conflict usually arises when one or both partners choose to live as though his or her needs deserve top concentration. A successful marriage is something that two people work hard at building together, if this is not present, there are bound to be blows. Marital blows can take different forms, including physical attack (beating), emotional and psychological battering. Apart from self-centeredness, other reasons for blows in marriage may include, but not limited to:

1. WRONG FOUNDATION (Psalm 11:3; 2Corinthians 6:14-16). Starting a marital related in an ungodly manner.

2. INFIDELITY (UNFAITHFULNESS) of either of the couple or both (Proverbs 5:15-20; Eccles 9:9).

3. KEEPING AWAY ISSUES that are important from one’s spouse (Gen. 2:25)

4. EMOTIONAL WITHDRAWAL after a disagreement (Eph. 4:31; James 5:9).

5. MAKING UNREASONABLE DEMAND from one another, forgetting that God is the provider (Phil. 4:6-7, 19).

6. ALWAYS POINTING OUT the weakness of one’s spouse (Phil. 2:3).

7. ENGAGING UNBELIEVERS to settle misunderstandings (1Cor. 6:5-6; Jam. 5:16).

8. LAZINESS of either couple (Proverbs 6:6-8; 1Timothy 5:8).

9. STINGINESS in money issues (Proverbs 31:10-12).

10. ISSUES WITH SEX intimacy (1Corinthians 7:3-5).

IT CAN BE BETTER STILL

When two committed Christians purpose to seek God’s heart and follow His will, no matter what, there is no problem that they cannot work through.

In acknowledging that divorce is not the solution in marital conflicts, then the following steps can be taken to remedy the situation:

1. Realise the mind of God towards your marriage. i.e., it is God’s institution designed for a lifetime (Malachi 2:16; Romans 7:2-3)

2. Be sorry, confess your fault one to another and repent from the past wrongs (James 5:16a; 1John 1:9).

3. Desire to obey God and fuel bliss with yourselves (Acts 5:29; John 12:48)

4. Be present and pray for each other (1Timothy 2:1; James 5:16b)

5. Always appreciate one another and undervalue your weaknesses . (Phil. 2:3; 1Peter 3:7).

6. Keep your temper in check, apologise when you are wrong and show tolerance towards one another (Colossians 3:13; Proverbs 15:1).

7. There must be smooth communication in all things, especially sex issues; communicating the truth in love is the key to being heard (Ephesians 4:15; 1Corinthians 7:2-3).

CONCLUSION

The main idea in today’s teaching is to focus on restoring the connection and put the past in the past.

This will save the marriage and connect you back to God when you feel like all hope is lost.
