MESSAGE:

In every field of human endeavour, those who excel are usually celebrated and honoured.

Second best is a good position, but I have never been satisfied with being second. I always want to be in the first position. I am sure you also be the first in your studies and all your endeavours.

You must note however that you are not the only one who wants to be the first, so whoever will take that position will have to work really hard.

Fortunately for you, you have an added advantage, and that is the Holy Spirit. If you can be very close to Him, He will ensure that you will remember everything that you have read (John 14:26).

He will also point you to what to read before the exams and how to answer questions in the exam hall. He is your ultimate advantage, stay close to Him.

Cheating to be the first actually puts you in the last position. It means you accept that the other fellow is far better than you and you don’t have what it takes to perform better.

13. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

GOOD MORNING BELOVED,

Today’s message is very important to every living soul. Share this with people around you, especially those who get depressed easily to know that; SUICIDE is not the end of their CRISIS. – OHD Team

Those who consider suicide as a viable option for handling the hardship of life do not realize that death is not the end of life.

In order words, there is life after death. Job was a man who held on to this truth, even though he faced unprecedented calamities in his life. He said in Job 19:26:

“And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.”

There are two benefit to knowing and accepting that death is not the end of everything in life.

One of these is that a person is compelled to behave wisely, knowing that he or she will face God’s Judgment after death. Hebrews 9:27 says:

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

Also, when we realise that death is not the end of everything, it gives us hope of a better life beyond this world. This hope kept Job going in spite of the tragedies that befell him (Job 19:25-27).

I am happy to announce to you that not only is there life after death, there is also a coming event called the resurrection of the dead.

The remarkable thing about the resurrection of the dead is that not only shall the just resurrect, the unjust shall also be resurrected to receive the rewards of their deeds in this world. Jesus said in Revelation 22:12:

“And behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

Armed with this knowledge, if I were you, I would engage in good works that would earn me great rewards when Jesus returns.

Are you going through any form of affliction at the moment? You need to know that it will not last through eternity. Indeed, it has its own expiry date.

So, don’t give up; just keep pressing forward toward the finishing line. Our Lord is coming soon to wipe away all your tears. Are you contemplating suicide as a means of escaping your crisis?

Please don’t think of it anymore, because death is not the end of everything. All you need to do is to reflect on the manner of life you have lived hitherto, and this will help you identify those thing that are responsible for your present predicament.

Once you ascertain those things, lay them all at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ. Don’t ever believe that suicide is an escape route from crisis.

Eternal crisis is awaiting everyone who refuses the salvation that Christ’s atoning work has earned for mankind. Have you received this precious gift?

Accept Jesus into your life today and let His atoning blood wash away your past into the sea of forgetfulness. Receive the peace of God into your life today in Jesus’ Name.

MESSAGE:

Being a true child of God attracts blessings, so also does it attract attacks from the enemy.

When you are truly a child of God, you are bound to face some challenges spiritually and physically.

Good Morning Beloved,

This thursday morning, you will be going through a great topic simplified for everyone’s understanding by Pastor E. A. Adeboye through the help our FATHER IN HEAVEN.

Giving is one of the recent weapon, the devil is using to distract many from the FAITH! SHARE AND REMAIN BLESSED! No part of your day will be wasted, in Jesus’ Name. 

Yesterday, the Holy Spirit spoke to us on giving whatever we have to those in need, no matter how small it may be. Indeed, what seems small to you might actually be big to those receiving your benevolence.

Today, the Holy Spirit wants to teach us that nothing is too big to give. God Himself demonstrate this principle to us by giving us His only begotten son. John 3:16 says:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever beliveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The Almighty God gave the greatest gift He had for the redemption of mankind; these is the height of generosity!

Abraham, the father of faith, was also ready to give up his son of promise, even though he has waited so long to have him. These act endeared him to God’s heart, and it opened the door of an irrevocable blessing to him.

Beloved, as we sing the popular song claiming Abraham’s blessings, we need to get some things straight. Unless we do the works Abraham did and walk in his footsteps, our song may end up as mere wishful thinking.

Abraham did not consider what God requested from him to be too big. He went ahead and gave up his only son of promise. The Jews who claimed to be Abraham’s children were told by our Lord Jesus Christ in John 8:39b:

“If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.”

What He said to them, He is also saying to us today. If you want to be blessed as Abraham was or partake of his blessings, then nothing should be too big for you to give at God’s prompting.

Take a cue from farmers: the size of their seed determine the size of their harvest. The more you are giving to hospitality and benevolent acts, the more you will be blessed by God.

The devil has nothing to do with this divine principle, and so he cannot prompt you to give to God. The truth of the matter is, whatever you are not ready to let go of, you cannot get back in greater proportions.

Establishing this principle, the Lord said in John 12:24:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”

Knowing this truth, nothing should therefore to be too big for you to give. A gift may leave your hand but it cannot leave your life; it is surely coming back to you in multiples.

In these days of social media, everyone now has an audience that they can serve pictures, videos and texts to.

Just like every other platform, what people post usually have an effect on the audience.

Everything would have been fine if people were posting the truth, however, most people, especially teenagers prefer to post lies. And these lies influence others negatively.

Some of the pictures you see of someone in a big sitting room are staged. That is probably not the fellow’s house, don’t start feeling bad about your house because of that.

Some of the possessions you see them posting on social media are borrowed.
Don’t put pressure on yourself to keep up with lies.

Be real; be yourself. Even if your classmates are actually richer than you, don’t pretend or feel bad because of that.

What matters the most is the future, and how much you are working towards not remaining where you presently are.

Challenge yourself to work hard and become successful so that in the future, you can boldly introduce yourself to anyone.
