The Holy Bible contains a number of people who wee rejected by God. An example is Cain whose sacrifice was rejected after he killed his brother Abel.

Ephraim is another example; he was an ardent follower of God but later turned back to idols and was rejected.

What can make God reject a person? If someone keeps committing a sin, and the Holy Spirit keeps cautioning him to stop that sin all to no avail, before long, the person will realise that the cautioning in his conscience has stopped.

This is the dangerous point of being left to reprobate minds. If you are committing a sin and God is warning you to stop, you better stop now before He keeps quiet and leaves you alone.

It is dangerous for God to reject anyone. Psalm 94:12 says blessed is the man who God corrects, meaning the moment God stop correcting a man, he is cursed.

Father, help me to always listen to you when you correct me.

Miracles are simply God’s supernatural interventions in the natural world, which suspends the law of nature. God performs miracles to show His sovereignty over His created world.

In other words, through miracles, He shows that none of His creations can stand in His way whenever he decides to do anything.

For example, contrary to the laws of nature, Sarah got pregnant and had a child after she had passed the age of child bearing (Genesis 21:1-8).

Unfortunately, many people who desire miracles are not ready to fulfill the requirements that bring about their manifestation, and so their desire remains a mirage.

How do we unlock the door to these miracles? The topic of today’s devotional gives insights into this.

Firstly, we must have a life that is pleasing to God if we want His supernatural intervention in our lives, and we please God when we live by faith. The Bible categorically says in Hebrews 11:6a:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him:”

The word ‘faith’ has a deeper meaning than many people imagine. For example, it is a lack of faith in God that makes people sin.

Adam and Eve lacked faith in the One who placed them in the Garden of Eden and told them what to eat and what not to eat.

They doubted God’s integrity and believed the lie of the devil, thereby falling straight into sin. Due to the presence of sin, God’s supernatural intervention, which hitherto made things happen easily for them, departed from their lives. Beloved, Jesus say to you today, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22).

Another key which unlocks miracles is obedience to the word of God. As a matter of fact, disobedience is the by-product of having no faith.

When a person lacks faith in God, the tendency is there for the fellow to disobey God with impunity. You can hardly obey the fellow you do not have faith in. it is therefore ironic that the miracle-working God is being disobeyed by those seeking His miracles.

From experience, Jesus’ mother knew the link between obedience and walking in the miraculous, and so she said in John 2:5b:

“Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”.

When the servants did what Jesus Christ instructed them to do, they experienced the miraculous. Other examples abound in the Bible which show the connection between faith and obedience on the one hand and between obedience and miracles on the other hand.

The story of Naaman is another good example in this regard (2 Kings 5:1-14). Beloved, if you desire to open the door to the miraculous in your life, have faith in the God of miracles and obey Him completely.

24. Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar; and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Some information is deemed classified, meaning that it is top-secret. The Almighty God has a lot of such information to His disposal.

Thankfully, He releases classified information to His elect from time to time. As seen in today’s memory verse, Abraham was one who had access to such information.

Are you one of God’s favourites? Are you qualified to receive heaven’s classified information? There are prerequisites that must be met before anyone can have access to heaven’s secret. Speaking on this, the Bible say in Psalm 25:14:

“The secret of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and He will shew them His covenant.”

So, the fear of the Lord is one of the criteria for accessing God’s classified information. When we look into the lives of those who enjoyed this rare privilege, we will see that they feared God.

For example, Joseph was given access to classified information because he feared the Lord. It was this fear that prevented him from sleeping with his master’s wife (Exodus 20:14).

Another prerequisite is the ability to guard a secret in your heart without divulging it. I believe one reason why Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, was chosen and given classified information about the Messiah that will come through her was that she knew how to keep secrets. From the time the angel of the Lord appeared to her announcing the Immaculate conception to the time the angels announced the arrival of the Holy Child, many secret things were revealed to her, and the Bible says in Luke 2:19:

“But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.”

Beloved, you can be one who receives God’s classified information if only you can refrain from being a talebearer and revealer of secrets.

God has the prerogative of revealing secrets and showing unknown things to His prophets, according to Daniel 2:2 which says:

“He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”

In today’s Bible reading, while all the crew and passengers of the ship he was travelling in were in great turmoil, he had peace because he knew what will happen.

Paul had credit in his account with God, and so he was privileged to know God’s mind concerning his voyage.

Beloved, you can also qualify to have access to heaven’s secret if only you can pay the price.

JUDGES 10-11 KING JAMES VERSION (KJV)

10 And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.

2 And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.

3 And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.

4 And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.

5 And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.

6 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the Lord, and served not him.

7 And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.

8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.

9 Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.

10 And the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.

11 And the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

12 The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.

13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

14 Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.

15 And the children of Israel said unto the Lord, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.

16 And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the Lord: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

17 Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.

18 And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

11 Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.

2 And Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

3 Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.

4 And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.

5 And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:

6 And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.

7 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father’s house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?

8 And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

9 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the Lord deliver them before me, shall I be your head?

10 And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The Lord be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.

11 Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the Lord in Mizpeh.

12 And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?

13 And the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably.

14 And Jephthah sent messengers again unto the king of the children of Ammon:

15 And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:

16 But when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness unto the Red sea, and came to Kadesh;

17 Then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh.

18 Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.

19 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place.

20 But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

21 And the Lord God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.

22 And they possessed all the coasts of the Amorites, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and from the wilderness even unto Jordan.

23 So now the Lord God of Israel hath dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou possess it?

24 Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the Lord our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.

25 And now art thou any thing better than Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them,

26 While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that be along by the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore did ye not recover them within that time?

27 Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the Lord the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon.

28 Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him.

29 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon.

30 And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,

31 Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord’s, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

32 So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the Lord delivered them into his hands.

33 And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.

34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord, and I cannot go back.

36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the Lord, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the Lordhath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.

37 And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.

38 And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.

39 And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel,

40 That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.

EZEKIEL 24:15-40 KING JAMES VERSION

15 Also the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.

17 Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.

18 So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.

19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?

20 Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.

22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.

23 And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.

24 Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord God.

25 Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,

26 That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?

27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

EZEKIEL 25:1-7 KING JAMES VERSION

1 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

3 And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

4 Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couching place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

6 For thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.

Thank You Lord, let’s lift our hands to the Most High God and worship Him, let’s give Him glory, adoration, bless Him, the King of kings, Lord of lords, the Ancient of Days, magnify His Holy name, praise Him, He’s worthy to be praised, give Him glory, let Him hear your voice.

Thank You father, In Jesus mighty name we worship. AMEN! When we talk about being more than conquerors, the word ”conquer” is a military word used in war, not in football and games.

THREE SECTIONS OF THE SERMON.

SECTION ONE – SALVATION MESSAGE

Romans 8:35-37, Life is war Genesis 1:1-4. The battle began, in the beginning, God separated light and darkness. John 1:5 Light shine in darkness, Ephesians 6:12, God’s plan for you is to be a winner and victorious.

Genesis 1 :27-28. Some will never win if they ignore God or are against Him, Romans 8:31. If God is on your side you will win, if He is against you, you will lose.

Psalms 7:11, Ezekiel 18:4, You can’t fight with God, He determined your beginning and the ending Isaiah 54:6, Romans 3:23, Psalms 130 :3, James 2:10-11, 1 John 1:7-9, Romans 10:13, Isaiah 55:6-7, 2 Corinthians 6:2 You have a choice between being a conqueror and being a loser Isaiah 3:10-11.

You have a choice, if you want a glorious future, give your life to Jesus now.

SECTION TWO BIBLE STUDY- MORE THAN A CONQUEROR

More than conqueror implies three possibilities;

1. Less than conqueror.
A man is less than a conqueror when God is against him. Exodus 14;21-28, God will forgive you of any sin that has turned Him against you tonight. When God is neutral Judges 16:18-21 God departed from Samson. God will never leave you alone.

2. Conqueror
A man is a conqueror when God is with him. 1 Samuel 17:34-51

3. More than conqueror
You are more than a conqueror when God fights for you, Deuteronomy 28:7.

It’s possible to work hard and fail, Peter toiled all night and caught nothing, Luke 5:1-7.

It’s possible to fail through enemies’ action, John 5:2-9.

It’s possible to fail through a curse, Numbers 22:1-6.

It’s possible never to fail, Philippians 4:13.

It’s possible never to be defeated, Romans 8:31.

It’s possible never to lack, Philippians 4:19.

It’s possible never to be disappointed or consumed, Lamentation 3:22-23.

It’s possible to be glad always, Philippians 4:4.

It’s possible to have all your prayers answered, John 14:13-14.

All there are possible through the love of God but you need to reciprocate His love. Proverbs 8:17, John 15:10, Amos 3:3 You must meet the condition for divine partnership

1 Peter 1:15-16 Be holy like God.

Remain connected to God

Constant association with Your ally, Isaiah 40:31.

Keep on praying to show that you rely on Him Psalms 121:1-2.

SOME CHRISTIANS HAVE LOST BATTLES BECAUSE THEY HAVE BECOME WEAK IN PRAYER

PRAYER

Stand and thank God for sustaining you this far.

SECTION THREE

More than conqueror in the physical, material, marital, emotional and spiritual.

PHYSICAL

1. Less than conqueror
Defeated by sickness, Mark 5:25-34.

2.Conqueror
Healthy and may never become sick, Exodus 15:26.

3. More than conqueror
Healthy and a producer of health, by laying hands on the sick. Mark 16:17-18.

PRAYER

Father, please, make me an extension of Your hands that every one i touch will receive healing.

In the mighty name of Jesus, i command every sickness and disease in my neighbor to go out now.

MATERIAL

1 Less than conqueror
Destitute, 2 Kings 4:1-7.

2. Conqueror
Have enough, Genesis 33:1-9

3. More than conqueror
Deuteronomy 8:11-12.

PRAYER

Father, make me a producer of wealth so i can lend to nations.

Neighbor, i decree, from now on, everything you touch shall prosper.

I decree today, one of you will be a treasurer for God.

MARITAL

1 Less than conqueror
Someone who dies barren, 2 Samuel 6:20-23.

2 Conqueror.
Beat bareness, Genesis 21:1-6, 1 Samuel 2:21

3 More than conqueror
Producer of fruitfulness. 2 Kings 4:8-17

PRAYER

Father, make me abundantly fruitful and make me a producer of fruitfulness.

Neighbor, there will never be barrenness again in your family.

EMOTIONAL

1 Less than conqueror
Overwhelmed by sorrow – depression Luke 7:11-15

2 Conqueror
To be happy all the time. Philippians 4:4

3 More than conqueror
Producer of joy, Acts 8:5-8.

PRAYER

Father, for the rest of my life, don’t let me know sorrow.

Neighbor, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, you will never weep again.
SPIRITUAL (A)

1.Less than conqueror
Overwhelmed with the forces of darkness, Mark 5 :2-15.

2. Conqueror
To be free indeed, John 8:32-36.

3. More than conqueror
Producer of deliverance, Mark 16:17, Acts 16:16-18.

PRAYER

Father, from tonight, turn me to a terror to the devil. When i command demons, let them move.

Neighbor, in the mighty name of Jesus, i command every yoke in your life to be destroyed now.

SPIRITUAL (B)

1 Less than conqueror
When you lack the power to do mighty things for God, Matthew 17:14-21.

2 Conqueror
Being able to do signs and wonders with the power of the Most High God, Acts 5:12 As the Lord lives, signs and wonders will be wrought by your hands in your churches.

3 More than conqueror
Acts 19:11-12

PRAYER

Your are no respecter of person, make me a producer of miracles.

Neighbor, because God has made me a producer of miracle, that great miracle your are believing God for, in the mighty name of Jesus, receive it now.

We are more than conqueror because God loves us, if we are not, it shows that we limit the Holy One of Israel.

Thank You Jesus, glory be to Your Holy Name Lord, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed, the almighty God will grant your request, you will be healthy, you will be a producer of health. You will be wealthy and a producer of wealth. You will never know sorrow again, bareness will be a stranger to your family.

You will be free and set others free. Receive power to perform miracles, all your requests shall become testimonies, so shall it be in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Ask God to use you to win a thousand souls before the end of the year.

Father, from now on, the sound of rejoicing will not depart from my house.

FINAL BLESSINGS 

My father and my God, thank You for beautiful testimonies, encouragement and faithfulness.

Please, accept our thanks in Jesus name, everything they could have asked for that they didn’t ask for, give them.

Multiply their joy, miracles, testimonies, receive their thanksgiving, bless it, use it for your glory, don’t let them ever lack again.

As you go i decree in the mighty name of Jesus that God will go with you, He will prosper, defend, fight your battle, promote and take you to greater heights.

Before Sunday, He will move you to the next level, it shall be well with you and you will serve God, your joy will never end, the blessings of tonight will last for ever, so shall it be, in the kingdom of God you will not be missing, your journey will be safe, on your ways there will be miracles, at home miracles will be waiting for you.

God will reverse the irreversible, you will find favor with God and men, so shall it be and you will be a producer of joy, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Who got the biggest miracle? let me hear you shout the biggest hallelujah. HALLELUJAH!

6.Father, help me to live the life of a pilgrim, with a temporary stay, here on earth, who will stand before Your throne, one day, to give account of my stewardship, in Jesus’ name.

7.Father, please help me to grow to maturity in the knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ.

8.Father, uproot from my life anything that does not represent or reflect Your image, and perfect everything concerning me, in Jesus’ name.

9.Father, give me the grace to hear regularly from You, and empower me to resolve issues and challenges, through divine revelations, from above, in Jesus’ name.

10.Father, please, make me Christ’s ambassador indeed, help me to learn from You, and to live and practice, what I preach, in Jesus’ name.

11.Father, give me the grace to make sacrifices that will populate and move Your kingdom forward, and let me be rewarded for all my sacrifices, in Jesus’ name.

12.Father, bless your son, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, and uphold him till the end, without blemish or wrinkle, in Jesus’ name.

MESSAGE:

One major tool of deception that the devil uses on teenagers is to make you believe that no one is living holy anymore.

This is a big lie from the father of all lies. There are still many Christian teenagers who are living holy. Many of them are baptized in the Holy Ghost and even working miracles.

I know some of them personally. There are still teenagers who will read bibles everyday, many who are still virgin, many who still obey their parents.

Unbelievers laugh at you when you avoid sin and tell you that you are not cool. But deep within them, they don’t like the fact that they have no control over their lives as you do.

They don’t like that you are who they wish they could be, so they want you to join them so that they can feel better.

My advice to you is: hold fast what you have lest someone makes you lose it. There is no enjoyment in their wayward life.
