One of the most beautiful things about the word of God is that it produces faith. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The word helps faith to swell within you, so much so that you begin to do things that were impossible for you before. Daniel 11:32 says, ”.. but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”.

The more of God you know, the stronger you become and the more exploits you can do for Him. There is just something powerful that consumes you when you study your Bible; you begin to see through the eyes of God. You would start to see situations as God sees them. You would become bold and fearless.

Things that were impossible to you before would become normal; in fact, you would experience some miracles that would be difficult to testify of as people would find it difficult to believe you.

If you can eat the word of God so much that you are filled with it, then Jesus Christ said you can ask Him for anything and He would do it John 15:7). What a great open secret! If you have been wondering why God answers some people’s prayers speedily, now you know what to do.

Hebrews 11:6 says: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Since faith comes by hearing the word of God and it is impossible to please God without faith, you need the word of God to please Him. If you are like me, always crying to God, saying, “Lord, I just want to please You”, the solution is simple: soak yourself in the word of God.

It is interesting though that fear also comes by hearing so be careful of what you listen to. Choose to listen to the word of God.

The Bible is the believer’s blueprint in life.

Christian wives must seek biblical ways to love their husbands because while it is good for them to love their husbands they way they desire to, it is even better for them to do so the way the Bible encourages.

Below are 6 ways women should love and care for their husbands as seen in scriptures:

1. Submit To His Leadership

The Bible instructs women to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord.

This may be frowned upon by the world but it is what Christians are to do because a Christian marriage is not just a “feel-good relationship”.

It is a reflection of Christ and His bride.

The woman’s duty is to marry a man who God approves of and who listens to God, that way, submitting to him is not a chore.

Unless in extreme cases (like when the man is being abusive or is demanding that his wife does ungodly things), a believing wife must maintain a constant state of submission to her husband.

Submitting and respecting your husband is a great way to shoe him love.

2. Share His Burdens

Another biblical way to show love for your husband is to share his burdens.

As believers, we are meant to share each other’s burdens and make it lighter.

A wife is expected to do this one a more deeper level for her husband.

3. Appreciate Him

A Christian wife should be graceful in her speech and say words of appreciation to her husband.

She must never be found putting him down especially with her words.

4. Pray For Him

A Christian wife should show love to her husband by lifting him up in prayers to God.

She may not be able to relieve all of his burdens but God definitely can.

5. Support Him

The support of a Christian wife is irreplaceable and carries a lot of weight.

A Christian wife should seek to support her husband completely in all his endeavors by offering wise counsel, listening to him, praying for him, and making it easy for him to achieve great success.

6. Meet His Needs

Christian wives are to continually seek ways to meet their husbands’ needs.

Needs for care and love at home, feeding and nuturing, and so on.

There are also needs that only the wife can meet like intimacy related needs.

The Christian wife should always be willing to show her husband love and care by meeting all these needs.

The Bible says when two people become married, they are no longer two but one flesh so everything must become one.

These are some of the ways a Christian wife must show love and care to her husband as seen in scripture.

1. Teach Them To Always Call Upon God

2. Teach Them To Love God’s Word

“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

Buying Bible stories, reading it to them, engaging them during family altar and taking them to Sunday School are great ways to encourage children to love the Word of God.

The Word of God is a guide and when children grow in it, they become godly children and eventually godly adults who love God and hate sin and evil.

Leading kids to memorize scriptures is a great practice.

3. Teach Them To Sing Praises To God

Make praising God a norm in your kids’ life.

Let them learn to sing wonderful songs of praise to God by teaching them hymns, Psalms, and praise songs.

Make these songs readily available for them on the TV, phones, and everywhere.

The words of these songs can minister to them at any point in life.

4. Teach Them To Practice Christian Living

Christian children should be taught to practice Christianity daily in every action and decision.

They must live out God’s Word and show His love everywhere they go.

In their relationship with their siblings, classmates, and everyone around them.

The love and lifestyle of God must be seen in them.

Teaching them to write out the fruits of the spirit and learn them is a great way to do this.

“For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.””

5. Teach Them To Love The Church

The practice of parents going to church and leaving their children at home is one that must be buried forever.

Children must be taught to love the house of God and the fellowship it brings.

This can be done by taking them to church weekly and making them feel like they are part of the service because they are.

The easiest and best way to train godly children is to be a godly parents, lead by example as much as children learn better by what they see than what they are told. To effectively instill all of them above in your children, you must first practice them.

In response to one of the temptations from the devil, our Lord Jesus Christ said, ”.. It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4).

It is true that as a human being, you need physical food to survive, but it is also true that your spirit man needs spiritual food to survive and that spiritual food is the word of God. If you don’t eat the word of God, you will be spiritually malnourished and it can lead to spiritual death.

There are many spiritually dead Christians and even Pastors today because they don’t read their Bibles. God’s word will give you life. Jesus Christ said in John 6:63: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The reason many people are depressed is that they hardly feed on the word of God. The Bible says in Jeremiah 15:16, “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts”.

When you eat the word of God, it strengthens your spirit man and you begin to feel a kind of joy that cannot be explained. Joshua 1:8 says if you want to have good success, then the book of the law must not depart from your mouth; you are to eat the word of God consistently.

Shortly after I got born again, my brethren and I had a slogan: “No Bible, No Breakfast.” We ate the word before we ate physical food. The first thing you must do in the morning is eat the word. You would then be healthy, because the word had already gone in before physical food.

Resolve today to eat the word of God more than you eat physical food.

Today’s Powerful Confession: I confess today that mountains are surmounted and strongholds are brought low. Difficult situations are made small and hard things become easy because I receive divine strategy and wisdom from The Word of God. My life is easy and sweet in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. Hallelujah!

PRAYER POINTS

Father, thank You for the gift of another beautiful day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord, please forgive my trespasses and show me mercy in Jesus name.

Father, I come to You today believing that You are , and that You are a rewarder of them that diligently seek You.

Spirit of truth, please coordinate and direct every aspect of my life in Jesus’ name.

Father, please send Your angels to make all things beautiful for me today, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father, help me to follow Your ways to get blessed and to wait on You for the blessing in Jesus name.

Lord, help me to flee from greed and covetousness. May I daily follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness in Jesus name.

Father, help me to look at what I have and be grateful. May I not be an ungrateful and greedy person in Jesus name.

Lord, bless Your son Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye for all his years of continual service, remember him, guide him on the path, help him remain focused, bless his entire household, and fulfill all Your promises for their liberation and ministry, Lord of peace, may You grant him and his family peace at all times and in every way (2 Thess. 3:16). May You equip him with everything good for doing Your will, and may You work in him what is pleasing to You, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. I ask You to deliver him from people who have wrong motives, I also pray that he will have joy in his ministry; and that he will always feel strong and refreshed in his spirit, soul, and body. in Jesus’ name.

I declare that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or think. His thoughts towards me are thoughts of peace, to bring me to an expected end in Jesus name.

I decree and declare that I have refrained my feet from every evil way that I might keep God’s word In Jesus name.

I decree and declare that when they deliver me up, I take no thought how or what I shall speak: for it shall be given to me in that same hour what I shall speak.
For it is not me that speak, but the Spirit of my Father which speaks in me in Jesus name. (Matthew 10:19)
