Osun State Broadcasting Corporation is established for the delight of the populace by creating, developing and transmitting unparalleled quality informative, educative and entertaining value-added programmes profitably, with the following objectives:

1. To inform, educate and entertain the public
2. To produce and broadcast entertainment, education and public enlightenment programmes.
3. To disseminate information and analyze issues and events of local, national and international importance.
4. To generate revenue through the sale of air-time and to promote other commercial activities like product and social activities;
5. To install and maintain equipment for gathering, processing and transmission of information on Radio and Television, and
6. To facilitate the achievement of these objectives through relevant support services.

At the apex of the Corporation is a governing board (appointed by the State Governor). The board (board of directors), headed by a Chairman, is saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring policy implementation, proper accountability and adherent to the famous trilogy of broadcasting existing to facilitate information, education and entertainment.

There had been changes and restructuring in the number of  departments and heads in the history of OSBC. From the onset, the Corporation started with five departments and the General Manager’s office.

Peoples Television is a 24-hours news channel operating out of the Federal Capital Territory. The company’s goal is to always be the preferred people’s station, delivering factual information with fidelity and swiftness at all times.

The stations programme philosophy is news oriented and attention is paid to viewers. PTV transmits on StarTimes across Nigeria on channel 120 and NIGCOMSAT 1R’satellite to 52 countries of the world.

Farin Wata TV Commenced operations in 2010 and we are the first Hausa channel on Startimes Cable Network which has over 28million viewers in the Northern Region of Nigeria. We are proudly rated the best Hausa Station in the whole of the North according to Viewer Survey conducted. Our Service offering include Entertainment , Documentaries, News and Current Affairs. We are a communication outfit based in Yola, Adamawa state, offering first class television/radio broadcast services with state of the art equipment. We have the latest UHF, Dual direct Digital AM Transmitters with strong signals received all over Adamawa state and beyond, transmitting on channel 36 (UHF) on frequency 591.25 MHZ (Television) 917 KHZ on MW Band, 91.1FM Band.

The Unity Broadcasting Network is an over-the-air religious television network. The company is headquartered in Booneville, Mississippi, and individual transmitter stations are located in Mississippi and Tennessee.

Rahama Sadau (born 7 December 1993) is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and singer. Born and raised in Kaduna, Rahama performed in dancing competitions as a child and during her school years. She rose to fame in late 2013 after joining the Kannywood movie Industry with her first movie Gani ga Wane.

Rahama appears in many Nigerian movies in both Hausa and English and is been one of the few Nigerian actors that speaks Hindi fluently. She is the winner of Best Actress (Kannywood) at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2014 and 2015.^[2][3] She also won Best African Actress at the 19th African Film Awards in 2015 by African Voice.^{[citation needed]} In 2017, she became the first Hausa celebrity to appear in the top ten Hottest Female Nigeria Celebrities.^[4] Throughout her career, Sadau has been a busy actress, appearing in both movies and music videos.

Life and career

Rahama Ibrahim Sadau was born in Kaduna State, north-western Nigerian State which was the former capital of Nigeria’s former Northern Region to Alhaji Ibrahim Sadau. She grew up with her parents in Kaduna alongside her three sisters.

Sadau joined the Kannywood movie industry in 2013. She played a few minor roles before gaining fame from her performance in Gani ga Wane alongside the Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu.^[5]

By 2016 she was recognised as that years “Face of Kannywood. In October of the year,^[6] Sadau featured in a movie series on EbonyLife TV.^[7] In 2017, she formed a production company named Sadau Pictures were she produced her first movie, Rariya^[8] starring Ali Nuhu, Sani Musa Danja, Sadiq Sani Sadiq and Fati Washa. She returned to acting to play the career teacher in MTV Shuga.^[6] In 2019 MTV Shuga returned to be located in Nigeria for series 6, “Choices”, and Sadau was one of returning actors for the new series which included Timini Egbuson, Yakubu Mohammed, Uzoamaka Aniunoh and Ruby Akabueze.
